How to get rid of a wasp nest on a balcony

• Apply poisoned bait. This method takes a long time and is suitable when the balcony is rarely used. To make the bait, you will need a tin can and a large plastic bottle, in which you need to make several holes. Pour into a tin can beer mixed with sugar or jam and a small spoonful of boric acid or borax. In the dark, you need to take out the bait to the balcony and close the door tightly. • You can catch wasps with a sugar syrup trap. It requires a plastic bottle, into which sugar syrup is poured and the lid is tightly tightened. Make holes a little above the liquid level, 0.5 cm in size. Hang the trap on the balcony. Wasps attracted by the sweetness will begin to climb inside and will no longer be able to fly back. To kill them, you can add poison from wasps to the liquid.
• It is possible to burn a wasp's dwelling if it is located away from combustible objects. Do not use it if there is even the slightest danger that plastic panels or paper wallpaper... If you decide to use this method, spray the nest with a flammable substance at night and set it on fire.

• If the nest is in the center of the ceiling, then you can try to drown the insects. To do this, you will have to prepare a bucket of water and something suitable in height to support the bucket from below. Fill the container completely with water and at night raise it to the ceiling so that the hornet's dwelling is completely under water. Support the bucket with something underneath. It takes several hours to wait for the wasps to drown. Make sure the insects have drowned before removing the bucket. To do this, knock on the bucket with a stick, if no buzz is heard, then the bucket can be removed.
