How to paint eyebrows with shadows
The time has long passed when thin, plucked eyebrows were in fashion. Now naturalness is in favor, so the eyebrows should be wide and thick. If nature has deprived of the density of hairs, then cosmetics will come to the rescue, for example, special shadows.
How to choose eyebrow shadow
The choice of cosmetics in modern stores is very wide, so choosing the right product is not such an easy thing. Regular eyeshadow will not work for this task. You will need to buy special shadows designed specifically for eyebrows.
The necessary shadows are in the following form:
- A thick pencil with wax in the lead. This substance makes the eyeshadow more durable and prevents accidental smudging. With oily dermis, such a pencil cannot be used.
- Dry eyeshadows are the most popular and can be found in any store. A special brush is included with the shadows, which simplifies the painting process.
- Liquid eyeshadow is the most durable option. With their help, you can not only apply the desired color, but also model the eyebrows, if necessary, correct the direction of their growth.
It is best to buy shadows without shine, matte shades. Makeup with such cosmetics it will be appropriate to look both in the daytime version and for the evening out. When choosing a shade, it is best to focus on the color of the hair, choosing shadows one or at most two tones darker than your own curls.
How to paint eyebrows with shadows correctly
Except selected shadows for staining, you will need a special brush with a beveled edge. Its pile can be either natural or synthetic. In the first case, the shading will turn out to be softer, and in the second, the eyebrows will be clearly traced.
To make the result of the makeup last longer, you will need to fix it with a special gel or wax. It is applied with a special brush or simply with your fingers, touching only the hairs, since the substance will melt on the surface of the epidermis.
Before dyeing eyebrows, they need to be given a beautiful shape, which depends on the shape of the face. For example, with a rounded face, horizontal slightly curved eyebrow lines will look harmonious, for a square-shaped face, ascending eyebrows with a high rise are suitable, for a triangular oval it is better to make round ascending eyebrows. With an oval face, you can use any eyebrows.
If the eyebrows do not yet have an ideal shape, then for the first time you can arrange them in a beauty salon. In the future, the result of the work of an experienced beautician will only need to be maintained on its own, from time to time removing unnecessary hairs.
Eyebrow makeup with shadows is performed as follows:
- With a clean brush, the eyebrow hairs are combed in the direction of their growth. Then the result is assessed visually and, if necessary, the hairs that are knocked out of the general shape are plucked out with tweezers. Before this, the skin must be disinfected with a special agent or medical alcohol.
- After the correction, the skin in the eyebrow area is moistened with a cream with a matting effect and waited for it to be completely absorbed. This little trick will allow the pigment to lie down more softly and the result will be more lasting.
- To simplify the task, the eyebrow contour can be outlined with a soft beige pencil or flesh-colored shadows.
- Then the eyebrow is colored, starting from its head and gradually moving towards the tail, acting gently with small strokes. With particular care, you should work out the area of the break of the eyebrow. At this point, the brush must be held at an angle to the surface of the dermis, applying the shade in several stages. Excess funds are removed by shading and combing in the direction of growth.
- The final step will be to apply a light concealer to the brow area. This will make the brows more contrasting.
