Of course, she has to worry, wondering if everything is proceeding correctly, and if there are any complications. But most pregnant women face toxicosis, dizziness and bouts of nausea. In this case, it becomes normal when a woman vomits once or twice a day. For more frequent bouts of vomiting, see a doctor. This can have a bad effect on the condition of the baby.

8n3 During this period, the woman continues to experience weakness, she always wants to lie down and sleep. She suffers from irritability, frequent mood swings and excessive emotionality.

Body changes also bring certain inconveniences. The main concern is the enlarged breasts. But you need to come to terms with this, because the breasts will become larger throughout the entire period of pregnancy. Therefore, now is the time to get yourself a comfortable bra.

In addition, now you need to give up all bad habits, try not to move heavy objects, if possible, switch to a healthy diet and take vitamin complexes. You should not take X-rays during pregnancy and treat your teeth with pain medications. It can hurt your baby.

8 weeks pregnant - what happens to the baby

Now the embryo continues to actively develop:

  • The embryo's brain is divided into three main sections, and then they are being improved.
  • Fingers begin to form on the legs and arms of the embryo. The tail, which is still there at this time, slowly decreases and disappears.
  • Transformations affect organs in the abdominal cavity. Bowel formation occurs. Since there is little room in the abdomen of the embryo, some part of the intestine is temporarily displaced to the umbilical cord. In a month, when the embryo grows up, this part of the intestine will again move to its place - into the abdominal cavity.

  • In addition to the brain, changes are also taking place in other parts of the baby's nervous system. He is already beginning to feel and react to stimuli.
  • The heart of the embryo has almost formed all four chambers and is actively sending blood to all vessels. The bronchi and kidneys are being improved. The embryo's genitals are formed, and very soon it will be possible to determine its sex.

Discharge at 8 weeks of gestation

Vaginal discharge should be normal in the eighth week. This means that there should not be a lot of them, they should have a light shade and be slightly sour in smell. Any deviations from this are already considered a signal to visit a gynecologist. For example, abundance secretions, a change in color, the presence of pus or mucus in them indicates an infection. The indication for treatment is itching in the intimate area, soreness and burning sensation.

Especially dangerous are the discharge of a brown tint in combination with a pulling pain in the lower abdomen. They can signal that the ovum begins to separate from the walls of the uterus. Discharge of a brown tone that lasts more than one day, cramps, soreness in the back - all these are symptoms of a beginning miscarriage... In such a case, it is better not to hesitate. It is imperative to call an ambulance to try to maintain the pregnancy.

8n5 In general, any bleeding this week speaks of the threat of losing the child. Moreover, the longer and stronger the blood goes, the greater the risk of losing the baby. To maintain pregnancy, you must adhere to strict bed rest and strictly follow all the instructions of the observing doctor.

If blood clots and lumps appear in the discharge, then the process of miscarriage is already underway. At this moment, the cervix of the uterus opens, it contracts. This leads to increased contractions and the uterus expels the fetus. Unfortunately, in this situation, it is almost impossible to stop the miscarriage.
