These places include the wings of the nose and the corners of the lips.
It is useful to use a cosmetic sponge if you need to create a denser coating. The action will be the same as when using a brush. There is, however, another option for applying foundation. Squeeze the sponge and squeeze a portion of cream onto it. Now unclench and start applying the cream. Make light circular movements with the sponge. This option will allow you to create a light and attractive coating.
Professional makeup artists prefer not to use available tools and simply apply foundation with their fingers. In this case, it is recommended to pre-warm the fingertips with rubbing movements. This will allow the cream to spread over your face more easily.
How to apply cream on face
Cream intended for facial care should be applied strictly along the massage lines. These are special directions in which the skin is least deformed. If you move in these directions, you will reduce the harmful effects on the skin of your face, and therefore reduce the risk of wrinkles.
Massage lines run from the central part of the face to its edges. Only in the lower eyelid do they extend from the outer corner of the eye to the inner.
Direction of massage lines:
- From the center of the chin to the ears.
- From the corners of the lips to the ears.
- From the middle of the upper lip to the temples.
- From the bridge of the nose to the temples.
- Along the lower eyelid from the outer corners to the inner ones.
- Along the upper eyelid in the opposite direction.
- From the collarbones to the chin.
- From ears to shoulders.
The facial product does not need to be used on the eye area. To begin, squeeze a portion of the cream into your palm or take it from the jar with a special spatula. Then spread the cream over your face with your fingers. Carry out skincare procedures no later than an hour before leaving home or going to bed. This will give the cream time to absorb and work.
How to properly apply eye cream
