Not a single kitchen can do without a refrigerator today; this household appliance is one of the main helpers. Proper care will extend the life of your cooling unit for years to come. An interesting fact was established by microbiologists: the dirtiest place in the apartment is the refrigerator. Violation of storage rules and untidiness of the hostess can contribute to the multiplication of a number of harmful bacteria and the appearance of an unpleasant odor. Other compassionate women, on the contrary, are too clean, which is also not always good for a household appliance. It turns out that the question: what and how to wash the refrigerator remains vital today.

How to wash the refrigerator outside

First you need to de-energize the household appliance, safety comes first! Cleaning the outside of the refrigerator is not as difficult as it sounds. It's simple, because there are no such old stubborn stains as inside, and there is no smell either. You can try to scrub the walls and door with a regular solution of warm water and detergent. After the surfaces are wiped with a clean damp cloth and then dry with a towel or napkin. If it did not work the first time, go through the walls again with a detergent composition and leave for a while.

It is more difficult to get rid of traces of stickers, however, there are also methods here:

• Paper stickers can be removed with hot water and a sponge. But before you do this, you need to wet them and give time to the water to absorb.
• Polymer stickers must first be peeled off the surface, this must be done carefully diagonally. The remaining adhesive can be removed with acetone or nail polish remover.
• There is another miracle method using a regular hair dryer. Heat the sticker with hot air and remove with a kitchen sponge (back rough side).

How to wash the refrigerator inside

No refrigerator manufacturer prohibits the use of baking soda, especially since it is harmless and cheap in cost. So why invent something? You can only add table vinegar to it, it also disinfects the surface. To prepare the solution, you will need 1 liter of water and 2 tbsp. l. vinegar and soda.

Of course, you might think that dishwashing liquid is also suitable here, but all the same it is chemistry and rinsing the refrigerator inside, just like dishes under running water will not work. In addition, the fragrances used to smell will also get on the food. However, one can argue here: there are also safe liquids, for example, on an organic basis.

Washing powder is completely unsuitable, difficult to rinse off completely and is very harmful. Banned bleach and acetone, such substances can damage rubber and polymer parts. Any abrasive substances, such as chisel, are prohibited, they scratch the surface, which leads to a loss of gloss on the surface.

There is a special paste for washing the refrigerator, it works as follows:

1. Apply it on the surface.
2. Wait a few minutes and rub again.
3. Rinse with a damp cloth, then dry with a cloth.

It is advisable to get rid of perishable food before washing, since all work is best done in the evening, then to leave the refrigerator open all night.

Well, the refrigerator seems to be clean, but smell remained. To get rid of it, the following recipes will help:

1. Lemon. Cut it in half and wipe down all parts of the refrigerator. After a few hours, wash off the residue with a damp cloth.
2. Hydrogen peroxide. After a standard wash, wipe the interior with a sponge soaked in peroxide.
3. Vinegar. Take 200 ml of water, add the same amount of vinegar to it, wipe the camera.

An oven cleaner may be suitable for washing. It will not only easily deal with stains, but also get rid of odors. It is necessary to spray the inner surfaces with the solution, after 15 minutes wash everything off with a cloth soaked in water and wipe dry.
