When starting coloring, take care of the necessary attributes. You will need old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Remember that hair dye is very difficult to wash off, sometimes it is even impossible to do.
After you have changed, prepare the coloring mixture by mixing the contents of the tubes in a plastic bowl. Do not use iron objects; they may react with the paint. Having done this, immediately begin applying the dye to your hair. Do not prepare the mixture in advance; it will oxidize in air and will be unsuitable for use.
If this is your first time buying this paint, do an allergy test. To do this, apply a little paint to the skin in an inconspicuous place and wait. If redness or itching does not appear, then the paint can be used.
Now sit in front of a large mirror, having prepared, in addition to a bowl of paint, a plastic comb and a special brush for applying paint. Put on your gloves and get started:
- To begin, spread the area of skin directly adjacent to the line along which the hair grows with a rich cream for protection. Cover your shoulders with an old towel and put on protective gloves on your hands.
- Now, using the sharp end of a dye brush, make a parting in the center of the head from one ear to the other. Gather the back of your hair with a bobby pin.
- Start coloring the front part of your hair. To do this, part your hair and apply dye from the parting to the ends of the strands. So color the entire front part of the hair. Be especially careful when painting this part. Do not allow spaces or omissions.
- Coloring The back of the hair seems complicated at first glance, but in fact this part will be covered by other strands. Therefore, even if you miss some area there, in the end it will not be very noticeable.
- Separate strands with horizontal partings of small width and paint from roots to ends.
- After the entire mass of hair is covered with dye, carefully comb the curls with a wide-toothed plastic comb. Secure them with an unnecessary hairpin at the top of your head.
- Now wait the allotted time and wash off the dye. First, just use running water, then rinse your hair with shampoo and finish the process with the included balm to fix the result.
It is best to dry your hair naturally after coloring without using a hair dryer. Exposure to high temperatures can have a negative impact on newly colored locks.
