How to make your spine flexible
A flexible body is always an indicator of youth and grace, often arousing admiration among others, however, today few can boast of a truly plastic figure. It is important to remember that it is possible to develop the flexibility and plasticity of the spine at absolutely any age, but if it is very easy to do this in childhood, then over the years the flexibility is lost and in order to restore it, it takes much more time.
Why Develop Spine Flexibility
There has been a lot of controversy lately on the topic of proper stretching, but it's worth noting that there are far more advantages than disadvantages. A person with a plastic and flexible body, as a rule, moves without any tension, which helps him to avoid many traumatic situations in life:
- Improving sports performance. As a rule, any exercise during physical activity is a certain movement, and therefore, developed flexibility will help to use the full potential of the muscles and cover a greater range of motion around the joints.
- Flexibility in everyday life. A flexible spine plays an important role in everyday life. Regularly, people perform at home or outside the most common movements - reaching for the phone, picking up a child or a heavy bag, sweeping the floor. Such movements only at first glance seem simple, but in fact they also require a trained flexible spine, and otherwise a sharp or fast movement can lead to injury.
- Prevention of disease. Muscles that are in constant tension contribute to the fact that over time, blood circulation in a person is disturbed, and therefore, nutrients cannot freely move through the body. During stretching, blood circulation improves, which significantly improves organ function and prevents cardiovascular disease.
- Good posture. Joints that are in constant tension, over time, lead to the development of incorrect posture, which causes pain and discomfort in the spine and lower back.

Swimming is not only a great way to develop the flexibility of the spine, but also to keep the body young and supple for years to come. In addition, swimming helps relieve stress from the back, while strengthening the muscles.

Many people do not want to do yoga in view of the fact that they believe that it is a very difficult sport, and they will never be able to practice at the level of real professionals, however, this is not so - doing yoga allows you to achieve flexibility and plasticity of the body gradually, without spending on this is some kind of special effort.
