All the tricks of gentle lightening for brunettes
If you are naturally brunette and have decided to make drastic changes in appearance, be prepared for the fact that you will need to carry out several coloring sessions. The most effective hair coloring method is using hydrogen peroxide. In order to preserve your hair, you must follow some rules:
- Use the solution that is right for you. For coarse hair, take a 12% solution, for soft hair, a 6% solution, and for damaged hair, a 3% solution.
- For greater effect, you can add a little ammonia.
- To dilute paint, use glass or porcelain dishes, never metal.
- After dyeing, apply yolk to your hair for a while. It will help your hair cope with stress and give it the necessary vitamins.
- Do not wash your hair before coloring for 3-4 days.
- Make the mixture immediately before painting.
- Don't forget to treat your forehead and the area behind the ears with any rich cream.
- Pay attention to the session time. Do not leave the composition on your hair for more than 35 minutes. It is better to repeat the procedure after some time.

In your case there are two options. You can dye it using chemical dyes or choose your grandmother’s recipes. We will present some of them below. There are positive and negative sides in both the first and second cases. Chemical dyes give faster results, but have a negative effect on the hair. After one session, you can lighten by more than 5 tones. Traditional recipes are good at strengthening and healing the hair, but it will take several days/weeks to get the desired result. If you choose chemical dyeing, you can reduce the negative impact on your hair by choosing a product without ammonia. Your hair will suffer less, but the result will be slightly lower.

Should you bleach your hair with peroxide?
Hair coloring with hydrogen peroxide is, of course, one of the most effective treatments available today. However, whether to use it or not is up to you. This method has one very big disadvantage. It damages your hair so much that it becomes thin, porous and brittle. After the procedure, it is necessary to carry out a restorative course for damaged hair. Try not to use a hair dryer or curling iron after dyeing.
However, if you decide to radically change your appearance and dye your hair from brunette to blonde, you won’t find a better way.
What is hair bleaching cream
Hair lightening cream refers to gentle coloring agents. It mainly contains oils that have a brightening effect. The amount of ammonia is reduced to a minimum, which has a positive effect on the quality of hair. Hydrogen peroxide, which is part of the drug, is more gentle on the hair than ammonia.
Using a hair bleaching cream you will not only get the desired result, but also preserve it. And yet, this product is very convenient to use, it does not spread and does not stain the skin.
In one application, hair color changes by 2 tones.
Hair Bleaching Powder
If you decide to bleach your hair using powder, be prepared for the fact that after the procedure it will become more porous. The method of applying powder to hair is to destroy the coloring pigment that is part of the hair. With subsequent washing of the hair, it is washed out, and voids are formed in the hair structure, which leads to porosity of the curls and their lightening.
Usually the powder is mixed with an oxidizing agent, which enhances the reaction. Powder diluted with water is used to easily remove color.
Caring for bleached hair
