Why are my feet cold?
We need to keep our body warm to avoid catching colds and getting sick. First of all, the limbs usually freeze. Therefore, it is very important to know why your feet get cold and how to deal with it.
Why are my feet cold
The first and most obvious reason why feet are cold – it is a low temperature indoor or outdoor. In this case, it is necessary either to add heating, if possible, or to dress warmer.
Another reason can be a hunger strike or rigid diets, which provoke a lack of nutrients in the human body, and, consequently, hypothermia of the body.
Circulatory disorders are also a prerequisite for cooling feet. Circulation can be impaired due to tight shoes, which cause the toes to tightly tighten.
Previous frostbite of the feet can also remind of itself after decades. Although outwardly it is impossible to detect any changes, in fact, previously frostbitten feet can feel discomfort even when, at the same temperature, the feet of another person feel only warmth.
Blood pressure, disturbances in the functioning of the nervous system, diabetes mellitus and other diseases can also cause freezing of the limbs.
Why are my toes freezing
The fact that your toes are cold indicates that there are some problems in the body that must be immediately eliminated in order to prevent serious consequences.
For example:
- Fingers can feel cold due to the abundance of sweat, which evaporates and, as a result, we feel cold.
- Low blood pressure, which interferes with normal blood circulation in the body and leads to hypothermia in the toes.
- Veins too dilated. Veins dilate due to lack of physical activity, which in the modern world is not at all surprising, since so many are accustomed to a sitting position. The veins expand and the toes freeze even more.
- Low hemoglobin levels, which trigger oxygen starvation, can also be a serious cause of hypothermia in the toes.
- Bad habits always have a negative effect on health, and in this case they are no exception. Smoking, alcohol abuse, drugs, etc., leads to vasoconstriction, poor blood circulation and, consequently, hypothermia.
- The emergence of intense fear, fright or stress also provokes a weakening of the blood supply.
- Many girls like to wear tight clothes, this is how they hide the flaws of their figure. But by solving one problem, they create another, because because of wearing tight clothes, blood circulation is also weakened.
What to do if your feet are cold
It is very important to keep your feet always warm and to prevent the possibility of hypothermia, because this can negatively affect your health.
And the first thing to do is to insulate your feet as best as possible. This is what is the main way to protect your legs.
However, it is also important that the vessels of the legs must be trained so that the cold does not cause such discomfort. And ordinary hardening can help in this, which will save not only your legs, but also health in general.
Start moving more, incorporate physical activity, walking, or evening jogging into your life. Without this, your fingers and feet will freeze in any case, no matter what warm clothes you wear.
Try to give up bad habits altogether, or at least smoke and drink less often.
Enrich your diet with some really healthy foods. Ideally, there will be a transition to proper nutrition, then you will not have problems with either excess weight or health. However, it is sometimes very difficult to start eating right and not everyone succeeds. So to start, just try to include vitamin-rich foods in your diet.
