Home Style Clothing styles of different countries

Each country views concepts such as “fashion” and “style” differently. Below are the main trends followed by representatives of different countries.

French style of clothing

French women always look elegant and sophisticated, no matter what they are wearing. The main features of the Parisian style were laid down by Coco Chanel in her “little black dress” - this is hidden sophistication under apparent simplicity. The French style is characterized by discreet colors - white, black, shades of brown and beige, green, blue. The presence of a bright shade (for example, red) is possible, but in a strictly limited manner: it can be lipstick, shoes, a scarf or a fashion accessory. The main feature of the French style is practicality and compatibility of all wardrobe items.

French women will never wear elaborate colorful outfits; their chic lies in apparent simplicity and elegance. The main emphasis is on expensive and stylish accessories that will give the outfit a complete look. These could be scarves, umbrellas, gloves, glasses, scarves, unusual hats. The main thing here is not to overdo it; one bright element is enough to make the image seem complete. Along with accessories, shoes are selected, which must be expensive and stylish. As true connoisseurs of style say, “a girl can save on everything except shoes, hairstyle and underwear.”

English style of clothing

English style is classic in all its manifestations. The traditionalism and rigor that are associated with the British way of life are also inherent in their clothing. It’s not for nothing that they are said to be “dressed to the nines,” since in the wardrobe of a true Londoner one cannot find anything superfluous or flashy. The main features of the style are its practicality, functionality, and elegance.

English women prefer simple things - dresses, jackets, skirts or trousers, classically shaped bags (round, rectangular, oval), discreet accessories. Forget about sexy cutouts and flirty ruffles, moderation should be present in everything. But this does not mean at all that Englishwomen are shackled in monastic robes. Their dresses are often tight-fitting, blouses are decorated with delicate collars, and formal accessories give a sophisticated look. The neck, legs below the knees, and hands remain open.

Italian style of clothing

One of the most feminine and natural styles is Italian. For true Italians, comfort and convenience are important in clothing. They often prefer jeans and T-shirts, and going out during the day in heels and a miniskirt is considered bad manners here. Stiletto heels are kept in the closet for special occasions, and for every day, Italian women prefer sneakers or ballet flats. Only one expensive item (for example, a designer bag or a bright jacket) can be used in combination with a casual uniform.

Naturalness is present everywhere, be it clothes or hairstyle: loose hair, minimal makeup, neutral shades. Traditional colors are mainly used - white, black, denim, gray, and there should not be more than 2-3 colors in one outfit. The only thing that Italian women do not know when to stop is accessories; there should be as many of them as possible: there are rings, belts, massive bracelets, sunglasses, and, of course, voluminous pendants.

American style of clothing

Amer

This style of clothing is characterized by simplicity and simplicity. American style is especially popular due to its desire for naturalness: it was he who brought natural fabrics, loose-fitting dresses, everyone’s favorite jeans and checkered shirts into fashion. When American fashion is mentioned, cowboy boots, short miniskirts and blouses with open necklines spring to mind.

The favorite uniform of American students is soft and cozy sweatshirts with prints of the logos of educational institutions and football teams. Any American woman always has jeans, T-shirts, jumpers and sweaters in her arsenal. Dresses here are one of the everyday forms of clothing. Usually these are loose silhouettes, simple fabrics, a minimum of additional details and embroidery. The main feature is their simplicity and convenience.

Japanese clothing style

Japanese

The closed Asian culture still remains mysterious and unique. Having appeared in the fashion industry, the Japanese style began to sparkle with bright colors among the traditional European “rags”. The podiums began to be filled with ornamentation, layering, and pretentiousness of the national Japanese flavor. The style is characterized by an abundance of accessories and a combination of incompatible items. A special place is given here to embroidery, appliqués, and color prints.

To match the Japanese style, you should adhere to the basic rule - use as many layers as possible in your clothes. The combination of modern fashion trends with national elements of the Japanese wardrobe looks very impressive and extravagant. Thus, the traditional obi belt, which used to be worn over a kimono, is still extremely popular and goes well with modern dresses, jeans and tunics. Anime fans brought appliques with cartoon characters into fashion; now they not only decorate children's wardrobes, but are also popular among adult fashionistas.
