The simplest moisturizing face masks
First of all, let's emphasize the importance of moisturizing masks.
While anti-inflammatory and nourishing masks help fight specific problems and causes of imperfections in our facial skin, then moisturizing masks are basic.
Water is a source of oxygen, without which our skin simply suffocates. Nourishing masks will not replace the skin's moisture.
In addition, water cleans cells, including the epidermis, removes harmful substances from them.
As a result, after the first application of moisturizing masks, our skin becomes less irritable, inflammations appear less and less, and there are less and less visible imperfections.
Each product does have a different effect on the skin. Some masks soften our skin, others strengthen it, or whiten, or degrease, or tighten the pores on the skin. Homemade masks can be made from different ingredients. In this case, they will have a complex effect on the skin, a "double" effect.
Let's take an egg as an example. Egg yolk nourishes and moisturizes our skin, and after egg white the skin is tightened and requires the mandatory application of a cream. Although for skin with enlarged pores, egg white is very useful. Therefore, you can make a mask from the whole egg by adding starch, oatmeal or honey to it for a thicker consistency. In any case, applying the cream after the mask always has a beneficial effect on the skin and helps it to recover.
Moisturizing sour cream face mask
This mask is called "express". The skin condition changes even after a single use. After it, the skin very quickly returns to a better condition. But don't wear the mask right before packing for an important event or date. In any case, such masks are best done before bedtime.
The following ingredients are required: 1 yolk, 100 g sour cream, lemon peel, crushed to a powder state. You can also grind the lemon peel through a fine grater. IN mask you need to add 1 teaspoon of oil. Olive oil is always preferred to vegetable oil. Therefore, it is better to stock up on a bottle of olive oil especially for home treatments.
First, sour cream with yolk is pounded, lemon peel powder is added. If you don't have the ability to grind lemon into powder, just run it through a grater.
Cover the mask with a lid and leave to stand for 15 minutes. After that, you should add vegetable or olive oil (1 teaspoon), mix thoroughly.

Moisturizing Clay Face Mask
Both white clay and blue clay are suitable. It should be noted that clay, despite its use for dry skin types, dries the face somewhat. Therefore, clay diluted with water is often mixed with fatty ingredients. First, you can add a spoonful of warm olive oil and apply the mask on your face until it dries completely. In the second case, the clay is diluted with milk, and 1 tbsp each is added. butter and peach pulp. The mask is very nutritious. It is applied to the face and neck for fifteen minutes, after which it is washed off with warm water.
Moisturizing mask with honey for the face
Most honey masks are extremely easy to prepare. But there is one most important rule here: never heat honey to a hot state! Then nutrients are lost in it, and this ingredient becomes practically useless. Mix 50 g of honey and 50 g of vegetable or olive oil and 1 egg yolk. For the best effect, the finished mass is slightly warmed up. This mask should be applied in several layers, each time waiting for 5-10 minutes. To soften the mask of honey, you need to take 20 g of any dairy product (cottage cheese, sour milk, cream) and mix with honey until it is completely dissolved. Apply to face for 20 or 30 minutes.
Milk, oatmeal (pre-mixed with a small amount of boiling water), oils, lemon juice, yogurt are added to honey masks.
Remember, masks are applied gently along the massage lines of the face.
