The simplest moisturizing face masks
First of all, let us emphasize the importance of moisturizing masks.
If anti-inflammatory and nourishing masks help fight specific problems and causes of imperfections in our facial skin, then moisturizing masks are basic.
Water is a source of oxygen, without which our skin simply suffocates. No nourishing masks can replace moisture for the skin.
In addition, water cleanses cells, including the epidermis, and removes harmful substances from them.
As a result, after the first use of moisturizing masks, our skin becomes less irritable, inflammation appears less and less, and there are fewer visible imperfections.
Each product does have a different effect on your skin. Some masks soften our skin, others strengthen it, or whiten it, or degrease it, or tighten the pores on the skin. Homemade masks can be made from a variety of ingredients. In this case, they will have a complex effect on the skin, a “double” effect.
Let's take an egg as an example. Egg yolk nourishes and moisturizes our skin, but after egg white the skin becomes tight and requires the application of cream. Although egg white is very useful for skin with enlarged pores. Therefore, you can make a mask from the whole egg, adding starch, oatmeal or honey to it for a thicker consistency. In any case, applying cream after a mask always has a beneficial effect on the skin and helps it recover.
Moisturizing face mask made from sour cream
This mask is called “express”. The condition of the skin changes even after a single use. After it, the skin very quickly comes to a better condition. But don't make a mask right before getting ready for an important event or date. In any case, it is better to do such masks before bed.
You will need the following ingredients: 1 yolk, 100 g sour cream, lemon peel, crushed to powder. You can also grind the lemon peel using a fine grater. B mask you need to add 1 teaspoon of oil. Olive oil is always preferred to vegetable oil. Therefore, it is better to stock up on a bottle of olive oil specifically for home treatments.
First, sour cream and yolk are ground, lemon zest powder is added. If you don't have the opportunity to grind the lemon into powder, just pass it through a grater.
Close the mask with a lid and leave to stand for 15 minutes. After this, add vegetable or olive oil (1 teaspoon) and mix thoroughly.

Moisturizing face mask with clay
Both white and blue clay are suitable. It is worth noting that clay, despite its use for dry skin types, dries out the face somewhat. Therefore, clay diluted with water is often mixed with fattier ingredients. First, you can add a spoon of warm olive oil and apply the mask on your face until it dries completely. In the second case, the clay is diluted with milk and 1 tbsp is added. butter and peach pulp. The mask turns out to be very nourishing. It is applied to the face and neck for fifteen minutes, after which it is washed off with warm water.
Moisturizing face mask with honey
Most honey masks are extremely easy to prepare. But there is one most important rule here: never heat honey to a hot state! Then the nutrients in it disappear, and this ingredient becomes practically useless. Mix 50 g of honey and 50 g of vegetable or olive oil and 1 egg yolk. For a better effect, the finished mass is heated a little. This mask needs to be applied in several layers, each time waiting 5-10 minutes. In order for a honey mask to also soften, you need to take 20 g of any dairy product (cottage cheese, sour milk, cream) and mix with honey until it is completely dissolved. Apply to the face for 20 or 30 minutes.
Milk, oatmeal (pre-mixed with a small amount of boiling water), oils, lemon juice, and yogurt are added to honey masks.
Remember, masks are applied carefully along the massage lines of the face.
