Causes of hair loss
The very first rule: don't panic! In fact, a person loses up to a hundred hairs every day, this is normal and is inherent in nature: old hairs die off, new ones grow in their place. Perhaps when hair were shorter, you just didn’t notice it, but now it seems to you that you are losing entire curls.
But if you definitely notice that hair growth has slowed down significantly, and in the morning you collect whole strands of curls on your pillow, this is a cause for concern (not panic!).
- The most common cause of hair loss is decreased immunity.
- Lack of iron in the body. This is most likely if you exhaust yourself with diets or during your period you release a large amount of blood.
- Reaction to medications containing complex chemical elements: many antidepressants, birth control pills and even aspirin.
- Hormonal imbalance.
- Diseases of the scalp, for example, dandruff, which we will return to below.
- Poor nutrition, smoking and alcohol.
- Temperature changes: admit it to yourself, how often do you wear a hat in the heat to protect your hair? And if you often neglect your hat even in winter, then you have nothing to be surprised at all.
Dandruff and hair loss
90% of both men and women have encountered the concept of “dandruff” in their lives, but, as a rule, few people think about its origin, simply buying the most advertised “anti-dandruff” products and shampoos.
In fact, dandruff is a rather serious infectious disease of the scalp - seborrhea, or, simply put, a fungus.
Hair condition- this is the state of health of your entire body, so if you begin to notice hair-related problems, first of all, review your diet, start spending more time in movement and in the fresh air, take a course of a vitamin complex and consult a doctor.
How to stop hair loss
Regular scalp massage will provide fresh blood flow to the skin and thereby stimulate new hair growth.
- Coconut oil: an excellent nutritional source for combating hair loss, it not only saturates each hair with moisture, but also prevents it from evaporating for a long time.
- Olive oil: Rich in vitamin E and makes new hair grow faster.
- Almond oil: contains the largest amount of not only vitamins, but also iron, calcium, magnesium - a whole storehouse for strengthening your hair.
Add essential oils of geranium, rosemary or lavender to one of these oils, regularly rub them into your scalp with massaging movements, and in a month you won’t recognize your curls!
Hair loss - treatment at home
It is important to remember: if you use any vegetable oils (castor, burdock, etc.) to care for your hair, be sure to heat them in a water bath before use, and then apply to the scalp with soft, massaging movements, using your fingertips, without touching the skin with your nails. The same applies to herbal infusions: the water should not be too hot or too cold.
Since ancient times for growth thick, long hair the girls used hops, nettles and burdock roots, combining them with egg yolk, honey and other folk remedies.
Hair loss masks
Anti-hair loss masks are applied not only to the scalp, but also along the entire length of the hair: this makes the hair healthy, beautiful and shiny. It is recommended to rinse such a composition with decoctions of the herbs listed above. And, of course, combine care and prevention of hair loss by thoroughly massaging the scalp while rubbing the mask.
Always add honey and mustard to products for oily hair.
Vitamins for hair loss
No matter how good medications with groups of vitamins and minerals are, nothing can replace taking vitamins in their natural form.
- Vitamin A: fish oil, pumpkin, red pepper, carrots, chicken liver, cabbage, apricots, tomatoes, etc.
- B vitamins: bran, pork, avocado, fish, cheese, potatoes, honey, milk and dairy products, nuts, etc.
- Vitamin C: citrus fruits, apples, rose hips, currants, etc.
Interestingly, rose hips contain the largest amount of vitamin C, even more than lemon.
- Vitamin F: flaxseed oil, grains, legumes, nuts, etc.
If you notice that your hair has become dull, lost its natural shine, the ends have become dry and brittle, and whole tufts of hair remain on the comb, then completely reconsider your lifestyle: perhaps the reason lies in your bad habits. After all, when a person smokes or drinks alcohol, the body begins to fight intoxication and all its resources are spent on this fight, leaving not the slightest chance for the health of the skin and, especially, hair.
We hope that our tips will help you not only get rid of the problem of hair loss, but also grow healthy, beautiful curls!
