It is necessary to take care of the oral cavity comprehensively. It is important to use only modern and high-quality drugs. The minimum set of care products teeth should include a toothbrush and toothpaste. But other products are also needed for full-fledged care.

The degree of hardness of the brush should be selected individually. So hard brushes are suitable for smokers or people with strong deposits of tartar and plaque. How to brush your teeth

As everyone knows, teeth require cleaning at least twice a day. The first cleaning is done in the morning after waking up, and the second in the evening before going to bed. The cleaning itself should last at least three minutes.

The sequence of actions for cleaning should be as follows:

  1. First, brush your teeth from the outside by guiding the brush vertically from the gum to the edge of the teeth.
  2. Do this at the top and bottom.
  3. Do the same on the inside.
  4. The part of the teeth that is involved in chewing is cleaned with horizontal movements.
  5. Don't forget to brush your tongue. This can be done either by the brush itself or by its outer surface, provided that it has a grooved surface. When brushing your tongue, try not to press too hard on the root of your tongue to avoid causing vomiting.
  6. Lastly, massage your gums while closing your mouth.

After brushing, clean the interdental space with special floss, and then rinse your mouth with a special mouthwash.

Prevention of caries

To prevent tooth decay, it is very important to adhere to the correct diet. This is especially true of the amount of carbohydrate and, in particular, sweet foods. It should be consumed less. Then you should pay attention to the mode of food consumption. You better try do not snack between main meals. Ideally, you should brush your teeth after every meal. But if this is not possible, then you should at least rinse your mouth with clean water and then rinse.

For additional strengthening of the enamel of the teeth, it is recommended to use sesame seeds, cheese, onions, cottage cheese and milk, nuts. Fluoride prophylaxis should be attributed to the method of caries prevention. It involves consuming fluoride-fortified salt, water, and milk.
