Unfortunately, not everyone can now experience the joy of motherhood. Health problems, possibly caused in adolescence, when you don’t think about anything like that. Infertility of a partner, and sometimes his absence altogether. More and more often you can meet women who, having never found their love, decide to take a serious step: having a baby for themselves. Fortunately, modern medicine can already make this a reality and women do not need to give birth to the first person they meet.

Is it possible to get pregnant without a man?
Nature created men and women and endowed them with the ability to form pairs and reproduce. Although science is catching up with nature, it is not allowed to step over it. Therefore, even with artificial insemination, male sperm are still used. You may not know the donor, may not have a man next to you, raise a child without the participation of a man, but you will not be able to get pregnant without his participation.
Although, it must be admitted, 16 cases of parthenogenesis - “immaculate conception” - have been recorded in the world, but disputes on this topic are still ongoing: one of the girls became pregnant during petting (it is possible that sperm got in), etc. Parthenogenesis in humans is an extremely rare phenomenon - under conditions of constant stress and heavy physical exertion, an unfertilized egg begins to divide on its own. But in 99.99% it dies quickly.

Artificial insemination is another chance to get pregnant, even after hearing the terrible diagnosis of infertility. Today there are several ways of such fertilization.
- In vitro fertilization, IVF. It is used for infertility in women and problems with bearing a baby, or for problems with a man’s health when he produces insufficient sperm. During ovulation, a woman's egg is removed, it is combined with sperm in a test tube, and when the embryo begins to form, it is attached to the wall of the uterus. IVF is only performed up to age 40.

How to get pregnant without a man and without IVF
- Intrauterine insemination, IUI. Perhaps the fastest way to get pregnant without a man. With IUI, the doctor determines the day when the likelihood of conception is high and, using a plastic tube, injects the husband's or donor's sperm into the cervical canal. This happens quickly and painlessly, even without anesthesia. Of course, there are a number of contraindications, including oncology, obstruction of the fallopian tubes and infectious diseases. But nevertheless, IUI is quite often and successfully practiced among our women, delighting with its effectiveness and lack of complications.

- GIFT and ZIFT methods. Less popular because they are suitable only for patients with absolutely healthy fallopian tubes, but much more effective than IVF and even IUI. GIFT is the transfer of a gamete (an egg with sperm), and ZIFT is the transfer of an already fertilized egg into the fallopian tube. So far, these methods in our country are carried out only in private clinics.
