Home beauty The best alternative to creams

It is not at all necessary to buy expensive creams to provide your face with quality care. After all, there are available tools that can do it just as well. We are talking about natural vegetable oils and fermented milk products. Their use in home cosmetics can solve many skin problems.

Oils instead of cream

Most of the ready-made cosmetic products are largely inferior to natural oil extracts in terms of their composition, qualities and quality of action. Natural oils do not contain any synthetic additives that can cause allergic reactions, unlike industrial cosmetics.

Natural oils in skin care can be used:

  • As a substitute for night cream.
  • As a cleanser and make-up remover.
  • During prolonged exposure to the sun, as a means of protection from ultraviolet radiation.
  • To enhance the effect of caring cosmetics.
  • As a component of home masks.

At the same time, natural oil can only be added to high-quality cosmetics, since due to the high penetrating ability, the components of the oil can deliver other ingredients of the cosmetic to the deep layers. If the product is of poor quality, harmful substances can penetrate into the skin.

As a cleansing agent, natural oil is applied after steaming the skin. In this case, it is necessary to use a product that is suitable for the skin type. The face is massaged a little, and then the rest of the oil is removed with a cotton pad moistened with warm water. The skin is rinsed with cool water and patted with a towel.

If deep cleaning is required, the face is pre-steamed and a little oil is applied. Then the towel is moistened in hot water and applied to the face for a few minutes, and after finishing the procedure, wipe the skin with the same towel.

If a woman's skin is prone to dryness, then she needs natural oils to protect against the premature appearance of wrinkles, feelings of tightness and irritation. For such skin, apricot oil, made from sesame, avocado, soy or borago, is suitable.

For oily epidermis, nut oils are more suitable. They have excellent astringent properties and are high in vegetable protein. As a result of their use, the skin receives nutrients, as well as cleansing of sebum. In addition to nut oils, you can use mustard, rapeseed and corn oils.

For the combined epidermis, coconut oil, sunflower oil, olive oil are suitable. In this case, it is allowed to use different oils to care for different parts of the face.

Face milk

Milk and milk products can be used as a care product for skin of any type and age. At the same time, products with a high fat content are more suitable for dry skin, and more acidic options should be used for those prone to fat content.

You can wash your face with milk. To do this, mix it with warm water in the same amount and wipe the skin in the morning and before bedtime.

If a deeper cleaning is needed, a milk scrub can be used. To do this, take one spoonful of ground oatmeal and milk, mix and gently wipe the skin.

Cosmetic ice can be used to nourish and tone the epidermis. To do this, milk is boiled and poured into ice molds. After freezing with a milk ice cube, rub the face. You can add some ground coffee to the boiling milk. This will enhance the effect of the procedure.

To relieve swelling under the eyes, make milk compresses on this area. They simply moisten cotton pads in milk and apply on the eyelids for a quarter of an hour. The procedure must be carried out daily.

Sour cream for the face

This fermented milk product is perfect for homemade masks. Sour cream perfectly moisturizes and nourishes the skin. For example, you can make a mask from sour cream and honey melted in a water bath. The products are mixed in equal amounts and applied to the face. This mask makes the face smooth and at the same time nourishes the dermis. After removing it, the skin becomes soft and hydrated.

For oily skin do mask from sour cream, lemon juice and protein. Beat the egg white a little, add a large spoonful of sour cream and a small spoonful of lemon juice to it. The mixture is applied for 20 minutes. After such a procedure, the face will get rid of unnecessary shine.

It is useful for dry skin to make a sour cream mask with yolk. For her, simply mix the yolk and a tablespoon of sour cream and apply the mixture on the face for 20 minutes. As a result, the epidermis is hydrated and the complexion becomes healthier.
