Feature of Ayurveda face masks
In the ancient Indian teachings of Ayurveda, special attention is paid to the skin. It is believed that this human organ is a kind of door that connects the human soul with the outside world. With proper care in compliance with all the laws of nature, women's skin is transformed by beauty. If you know your type of dermis according to Ayurveda, you can improve its condition, heal the internal organs and rejuvenate the body.
According to Ayurvedic philosophy, there are three types of constitution or dosha - pitta, vata and kapha. When all three doshas are in harmony, the skin is healthy, young and beautiful.
This classification of skin types is somewhat different from the generally accepted one. According to Ayurveda, the type of epidermis can vary depending on external conditions. For example, in hot and sunny weather, the epidermis becomes more sensitive, that is, it acquires the type of pitta. In the winter cold, the dermis lacks moisture, then the dosha vata is turned on to a greater extent.
Ayurvedic specialists distinguish the following types of skin:
- When belonging to the pitta type, a person will have a healthy glow and many moles on their cheeks. The epidermis is soft, warm and natural in tone. At the same time, such skin reacts sensitively to external stimuli and quickly turns red. With improper care, excess grease occurs and appears acne.
- Vata type skin is particularly tender. He is thin and pale. With improper care, this type of epidermis dries up quickly, so many problems arise, including the early appearance of wrinkles and excessive dryness. Such skin is very sensitive to the environment and often causes allergic reactions.
- If the epidermis is of the kapha type, then it is firm and elastic. Such skin does not have a moisture deficit, therefore, there are no premature wrinkles. With improper care, the appearance of acne, excess grease and enlarged pores. If a woman with this type of skin is overweight, then over time, swelling folds will appear on the skin.
