• Velvet for nails. One of the latest innovations in manicure design. Apply clear varnish to the prepared nails and, without allowing it to dry, dip generously into the “velvet”, then shake off the excess. It looks very unusual, lasts a long time, but keep in mind that all dust and dirt tend to settle on light shades. 
• Nail stickers. Cover your nails with clear polish and let it dry thoroughly. Apply base color polish to your nails and wait until dry. Dip the sticker in water for a few seconds and, carefully peeling off the protective layer with tweezers, press it firmly to the surface of the nail without moving it for some time. Paint the top with clear varnish. You can also see stickers in stores that cover the entire nail. This season, we do not recommend purchasing them; as a rule, such stickers contain entire landscapes, large flowers, and even various landmarks, which are long outdated and have sunk into oblivion. As well as rhinestones of various shapes and colors, appropriate only for an evening out. 
• But you can easily afford a manicure with geometric patterns, no matter whether you use ready-made stickers for it, draw it by hand with a thin brush, or use a stencil. 
• Ombre or gradient. It looks simply breathtaking, but it doesn’t take much time if you get used to it. Let the clear polish dry on smooth, polished nails and prepare a piece of sponge, several polishes with similar shades for color transition and, ideally, a special coating to protect the cuticles. Apply nail polishes to the sponge layer by layer, slightly overlapping each other in such an order that the transition of shades looks most harmonious. Apply the sponge to the nail, trying to make the gradient even and cover the entire nail. Once dry, apply clear polish to final blend the shades and remove the protective film from the skin around the nails.
