How to remove henna from hair
This natural color is commercially available as a marsh-colored powder. It allows you to obtain a shade of hair with varying degrees of redness. In addition, henna makes hair shiny. But there are times when, for some reason, the result of its use is not satisfactory.
In this case, you should be aware that chemical dyes should not be used after changing the hair color with henna. That is, you cannot simply paint over your hair with regular hair dye if the result of henna dyeing does not suit you. You can get inappropriate indescribable color on your curls.
In this case, you can either dye your hair in the salon radical black. But this option does not always bring a satisfactory result. You can try another method and try to reduce henna with folk recipes.
- If immediately after staining the result does not suit you, then wash your hair with shampoo. This will prevent the henna from fixing in the hair structure and it will come off faster. This method is applicable only if you dyed curls with henna for the first time.
- Use olive oil to mask your hair. First, warm it up with a water bath and distribute it over the entire mass of hair. There should be enough oil to cover the curls generously. To heighten the effect, warm your head with a cloth. Keep this mask for at least two hours.
- Instead of oil, you can apply sour cream to your hair. You need to keep it for a whole hour. This way you can make the redhead not so bright.
- You can partially get rid of henna by washing your hair with laundry soap. It promotes the disclosure of hair scales. Then apply warm oil to the curls. Do this procedure every week for two months. Then you can paint your hair with another paint.
How to remove henna from eyebrows
It is much easier to remove this natural dye from eyebrows than from hair. If you are not satisfied with the result of staining, immediately wash thoroughly with warm water. Then cover your eyebrows with any vegetable oil and leave to act for a quarter of an hour. The paint will peel off from the action of the oil and you just need to wipe it off with a cotton pad.
Remove the remaining dye with an alcohol solution. For this purpose, you can use a toner or lotion designed for oily skin. In this way, you can remove henna from your eyebrows immediately after dyeing.
How to quickly wash off henna
Please note that you can get a quick and effective result only in the first days after using henna. Over time, the natural dye firmly eats into the hair structure and then it is almost impossible to wash off the henna.
A quick result is the use of alcohol. Rub 70% alcohol on your hair and wait 5 minutes. After that, on the hair along the entire length, put a heated vegetable butter... Cover your hair with plastic and a warm towel. To heighten the effect, warm your head over the towel with a hairdryer. Alcohol helps the scales open, and oil helps remove henna. The exposure time of this mask is half an hour.
The use of vinegar will significantly reduce the intensity of the red color. Dissolve 3 large tablespoons of vinegar in a bowl of warm water and rinse your hair in this solution for ten minutes. In order not to dry out the curls, complete the procedure with applying a balm.
How to remove henna from skin
If, during the dyeing of the curls, your skin is also stained, available means will come to the rescue. Try scrubbing the affected area first. You will lighten it noticeably. A good result is given by wiping the skin with an alcohol-containing agent or ordinary vodka.
Significantly brightens skin blend vinegar and water in equal amounts. After rubbing it, it is imperative to wash off the composition from the skin with warm water. Fresh lemon juice works in a similar way.
