Eyelid skin care
Coming close winter season, which means that taking care of your body, face, arms and legs need a little more carefulness. This is especially true of the area around the eyes, because the skin there is very thin, and is most susceptible to adverse environmental influences.
Masks for century 
As well as for any other part of the body, for the eyelids can be made masks at home. They are needed in order to get rid of wrinkles, edema, fatigue. Since about eye there are no sebaceous glands, then the skin needs regular care and, of course, moisture.
When choosing the components of the mask, you need to remember about allergic reactions, so you need to choose very carefully and for your skin type. Masks should be quite greasy, and they should be applied with neat and gentle movements. Before the procedure, it is necessary to remove all makeup and preferably steam the skin. Also, before applying the mixture, it is recommended to carry out a small massage of the eyelids, but you will learn about it just below.
The mask should be removed with cool water or with a cotton swab moistened with warm milk, after removal, be sure to lubricate the epidermis with a nourishing or moisturizing eye cream. For masks, you can use a variety of ingredients: vegetable oils, food, essential oils, vegetables and fruits.
For example, you can prepare the following mixture for application to the skin of the eyelids: take in equal proportions olive oil, flax oil and a little less liquid vitamin E. Mix everything well and apply on the skin of the eyelids. The ideal time for treatments is one hour before bed.
You can mix olive oil with warmed honey, hold for 10 minutes for centuries, then wash with freshly brewed green tea.
You can use carrots to make a mask. For the first recipe, you need carrot juice. Combine it with almond oil. Mix thoroughly and remove to a cool place to infuse. This procedure is recommended to be performed daily for a month.
Also, carrots can be grated and mixed with egg yolk and 10 g of starch. This mixture will perfectly smooth the skin, refresh it, and also help get rid of pigmentation.
In equal amounts, you can mix butter, infusion chamomile and castor oil. Apply to the skin of the eyelids and keep for 20 minutes, preferably lying down and not moving.
Combine a couple of spoons of fat sour cream with a spoon of finely chopped parsley. Spread on eyelids, hold for 15 minutes.
Eyelid massage 
In cosmetology, there are three main types of massage: hygienic (after 25 years), plastic (after 35) and therapeutic (for sagging skin). There are also many more different types using heated spoons or a roller with liquid nitrogen.
To carry out massage on your own, first you need to familiarize yourself with the rules, at least once learn from the master, or look on the Internet how to properly massage the eyelids. The most important thing is not to stretch the delicate skin during the session. It should be remembered that the massage is carried out strictly along certain massage lines. Moreover, the lines for the upper the lower eyelid is completely different (upper - from the bridge of the nose to the outer corner eyes, bottom - from the outer corner to the inner corner). It is necessary to press during massage only on certain zones, and use light tapping, a little less vibration and soft stroking.
You can also massage using an eye cream. The procedure is performed using the ring fingers of both hands. Before the massage, you should cleanse the skin, apply an eye cream, it is best to start with the upper eyelid. With gentle movements, tap the massage lines with the pads of your fingers, then you need to go to the lower eyelid. Repeat several times until all the cream is absorbed.
Eyelid creams 
You can make your own creams for the delicate skin of the eyelids. For example, using olive oil (tsp), vitamins E and A (by capsule) and jojoba oil (a couple of droplets). This mass nourishes the skin and eliminates crow's feet.
You can also use a couple of spoons of chamomile broth with linden blossom, butter, a small spoon, and half a spoonful of castor oil.
To nourish the dry skin of the eyelids, you can prepare a cream from interior pork fat and any oil (peach, olive, jojoba) in proportions of 1: 2. The pork fat must be melted with a water bath and the oil must be added. Store this cream in a glass container with a lid.
On the shelves in cosmetic stores, you can see a huge variety of eye creams. Thanks to the most useful ingredients, the products perfectly nourish, moisturize, soften and rejuvenate the epidermis. Here are some of the most famous and useful ones:

Eye oil 
There are women who do not want to spend a lot of money on useless creams... These use natural or essential oils. Thanks to their rich composition and useful vitamins and minerals, they have a very good effect on the skin of the eyelids.
- 50 ml coconut oil can be combined with half an egg yolk and a spoonful of honey. Dip cotton swabs into the resulting solution and apply to the eyelids. This composition has a rejuvenating and tightening effect.
- Heat the peach oil a little and dip a couple of cotton swabs into it. Apply to eyelids for a quarter of an hour.
- The same amount of heavy cream and sea buckthorn oil mix by adding one egg yolk. This mask can be used for everything faces, or only for the skin of the eyelids. To improve the effect, you can cover your face with polyethylene.
- Butter rose hips can be added to any eye cream. Just a few drops are enough for the entire cream. Such oil is rich in essential vitamins that the body lacks, especially in winter.
- Heat the castor oil a little and mix with the same amount cooked in milk oatmeal.
