Children under two years old are very interested in everything that happens around them; they do not need to come up with complex story games; it will be enough to build a tower of cubes together, assemble a pyramid, or roll a ball. Children get great pleasure from quest games, for example “Treasure Map”. The rules are simple: draw a map, come up with original clues and place them around the apartment in different places, hide a treasure (sweet or toy). And the child, following the route on the map and finding clues, must get to the treasure.

Another game is called "Hit the Target". The child stands at a certain distance from the “target” (a basin or box) and tries to hit it with paper “bombs”. You can gradually complicate the task, pushing the “goal” further and further. The winner will be the one who throws the most “bombs” into the bucket.

You can even play bowling at home - just fill plastic bottles with water, and a balloon will turn into an excellent basketball or volleyball ball.

Good old “hide and seek” is a universal game for all ages; remember it when your imagination and strength are running low.

Children also love to build huts. Build it from available materials, for example, by throwing a couple of blankets over a clothes drying rack, climb in there with your child and have a picnic. Great emotions will be provided to both of you!

Active games are an ideal way to have fun and usefully spend time on a walk. They help the baby develop physically, train coordination, accuracy and dexterity.

The two of you can play badminton with your child, throw the ball to each other, jump in Hopscotch, or draw with chalk on the asphalt.

One of the most favorite outdoor games for the company is “Dodgeball”. You need to draw out a field for the game, then two drivers are selected, they stand on opposite sides of the field, and everyone else stands in the center. The driver must hit one of them with the ball so that the player who was “knocked out” takes his place.

Game with skipping rope “Fisherman and fishes”. The children stand in a circle, and the driver stands in the center and, holding the rope by one end, begins to spin it along the ground, trying to touch the players’ feet. They, in turn, must jump over the rope, because the one it touches is out of the game.

There are many options to entertain your child in a calm environment: drawing, modeling from salt dough or plasticine, a sandbox with kinetic sand, puzzles, construction sets, mosaics, lotto and many different board games. You can find something to your liking even for the pickiest little one.

Child 1-2 years old build a “sensory” box on your own; to do this, you need to pour cereal or pasta into it and place small objects and toys there: animal figurines, pebbles and shells, spatulas, jars. The young researcher will enthusiastically study its contents.

The drawing process will become more interesting if you give your child easy tasks. For example, draw a tree, and the child should finish drawing a harvest of apples on it, rain from a cloud, and “place” a puppy in the booth.

You can make various figures of people or animals from plasticine, and then play with them, coming up with an interesting plot.

A good game that develops imagination and tactile sensations “Guess the object by touch”: the player is blindfolded, he takes an object out of the bag and guesses by touch what it is.

It is very important that through play a child develops not only physical, but also mental abilities. Here are some simple options for games that train your intelligence.

The game “Edible Not Edible” develops reaction and attentiveness; it is perfect for children aged 4 years and older. The driver takes turns throwing the ball to the players, while naming an edible or non-edible item. And they should catch only “edible” balls.

Playing “Association” has a positive effect on a child’s thinking. Children sit in a circle and pass the ball to each other, while calling out a word; each next player must answer with the first association that comes to his mind and give the ball to the other.

An excellent memory exercise will be games to remember objects. Put several things in front of the child, let him look at them carefully and remember, then you can remove one and ask the baby what is missing, and ask him to describe it (what color, distinctive features).
