How to knit Easter
For work, prepare:
- brown and white acrylic yarn;
- hook No. 2.5.
Start from the foundation.
- Knit two air loops and connect them into a ring.
- Continue single crochet in the round. In the first round, knit 6 stitches. In the second - 12, in the third and fourth - 24, in the fifth - 36.
- Next, knit up to the 15th row without adding stitches.
- Knit the 16th row with single crochets, catching the inner wall of the last row (rise to knit the side part).
- Knit the height of the Easter cake in single crochets without adding, about 20 rows.
- Start knitting the icing. Knit 3 aerial stitches and join them in a circle.
- Continue single crochet, adding 5 stitches on each row, for approximately 9 rows.
- In 10-12 rows, decrease 7 stitches.
- Continue knitting until the icing covers the cake, about 13-14 rows.
- Tie the edges with half-columns.
11. Decorate the glaze with beads or beads.

How to knit an openwork chicken for Easter
We invite you to make with your own hands another attribute of the upcoming holiday - a chicken.
For work, prepare:
- yellow and orange acrylic yarn;
- orange “Iris” threads;
- satin ribbon 20 cm;
- buttons for eyes and wings;
- felt a little;
- pupils;
- some cardboard;
- hook 2.5;
- glue;
- knitting needles 3.5.
Product height 18 cm, base 8 cm.
Start at the base of the chicken.
- Knit 3 chain stitches and connect them into a circle.
- Next, knit 9 double crochets in a circle.
- In the second round, knit 18 stitches.
- The third has 27 columns.
5. Continue working, but begin to gradually reduce the columns. Place prepared cardboard at the bottom of the product.
7. Finally, cast on 12 loops on 2 knitting needles, pass the thread through them and pull.
8. Start making small parts. For the tuft, knit a small rectangle measuring 5 x 5 cm using stockinette stitch.
9. Wet the part and dry it to “fix” the curls.
10. Start knitting the beak; to do this, knit 11 chain stitches and one row of double crochets.
11. Knit the fingers and paws in a “caterpillar” pattern, the length of the paw is approximately 6 cm.
12. Start knitting the wings according to the proposed pattern.
13. Attach the finished wings to the base using buttons.
14. Prepare the eyelashes together with the eyes and fasten them in place.
15. Unravel the previously tied rectangle and make curls, secure them on your head.
16. Attach the pupils with glue.
17. Sew on the legs. The chicken is ready.
How to knit an Easter basket
And one more accessory that we suggest you knit is an Easter basket.
For work, prepare:
- lilac and white cotton threads;
- hook 2.5.
Start knitting from the bottom of the basket.
1. Knit the bottom according to the proposed pattern.
2. The bottom is 7 cm. You can knit any size at your discretion.
3. Knit the sides with double crochets, catching the inner wall of the last row.
4. Knit two more rows.
5. In the fourth row, alternate stitches with an air loop. Holes for the ribbon are knitted.
6. Tie the basket with single crochets.
The height of the finished product is 4 cm.
7. Knit the leaves according to the pattern suggested below, determine the quantity yourself, relative to the size of your basket.

10. In order for the product to keep its shape well, it needs to be starched and shaped using a decanter placed inside.
11. Attach the leaves to the basket, stretch the ribbon.
