Home Family and home Children Is a kindergarten needed at all

We know from childhood that every child should go to kindergarten. It is possible that this confidence was formed back in Soviet times, when preschool institutions were actively built and were affordable for every family: the payment for a child's stay in a kindergarten was rather symbolic. Over time, private kindergartens began to appear, there are not enough places in municipal ones, and prices bite in both. Therefore, some mothers began to wonder, does the child really need a kindergarten?

Why do you need a kindergarten

Of course, there are positive aspects to going to kindergarten. First, among peers, the child develops faster, acquires communication skills. The kid begins to get used to independence, learns to establish contact with peers and adults, to resolve conflicts or avoid them.

Secondly, it is believed that the kindergarten has more opportunities for the development of the child. In many ways, this is true: the mother always has a lot of chores around the house, while in kindergarten, these problems are solved by the attendants. In addition, despite all the love, care and affection that the child is surrounded by at home, parents will not be able to provide him with full education. In the kindergarten, however, children study according to specially developed state programs, which allows them to better prepare for school. Organization of holidays, beautiful matinees that require special preparation costumes, pleasantly delight the kids.

Finally, the most commonplace reason is the family budget deficit. Unfortunately, the level of our salaries most often does not allow one of the parents to stay at home with the child, this will have a too heavy impact on the family's finances.

And yet, sometimes it happens that a child does not attend kindergarten for various reasons.

But, despite the joy of the parents that the baby is under constant supervision, it is necessary to provide him with opportunities for development and communication with peers. There are several ways to do this:

  • Developing courses. If the child does not go to kindergarten, this is a good alternative. Depending on your preferences and employment, you can choose a daily program or courses with visits 2-3 times a week.
  • Part-time group. In this case, the kid will come to kindergarten for only a few hours a day, which is quite enough for mastering educational programs and communicating with peers.
  • Homework. If there are no opportunities at all to enroll a child in courses or in a peer group, the entire responsibility not only for his upbringing, but also for education falls on the parents. Mom and Dad will have to study various methods of child development, draw up an individual lesson plan, taking into account the characteristics of the child.

Is it possible not to take a child to the garden

The question of taking a child to kindergarten or not, of course, everyone decides individually. Kindergartens have both supporters and opponents. Of course, they discipline the child to a certain extent, because there is a daily routine, diet, daytime sleep. Children learn to communicate, they are engaged there, they organize educational games. On the other hand, this mode does not always coincide with the biological rhythms of the baby. It is even worse if you are unlucky with the teacher or the child does not have a relationship in the team. In this case, the so-called socialization does not bring children anything other than chronic stress and tears in the morning.

In addition, they often get tired of the noise, the constant need to be in sight and obey orders. Weaning a small child from his mother often has a detrimental effect on his physical and mental health, it is no coincidence that many children in the kindergarten often start to get sick. Therefore, it is worth weighing well the pros and cons before making a decision, especially if the family's capabilities allow the mother to sit with the baby for at least a few years.
