What is needed in a maternity hospital for a newborn
Pack a bag for you and your baby a couple of weeks before your due date. It is possible that the "X" hour may come ahead of schedule.
Everyone maternity hospital approves its own list of necessary things for the child.
In any case, be sure to take:
- diapers;
- wet wipes;
- disposable diapers;
- children's scissors;
- cotton buds with stops.
- undershirts;
- cotton diapers;
- dummy;
- mittens-scratches.
Do not take with you discharge kit. Relatives will bring everything to the hospital before the meeting.
List of things for a newborn
In the hustle and bustle before preparation to childbirth you can easily forget what you wanted to buy. Therefore, before going to the store, write a list of what you need to purchase.
List of things to sleep:
- Cot. For the convenience of stacking, you can buy with a pendulum and a built-in changing table.
- Hard base mattress.

Over time, you can buy an orthopedic pillow with a slope. It helps a lot if the baby spits up frequently.
Bed linen was not included in the list just because a newborn baby is peeing very often and it is better to put regular diapers on. This is much more convenient and practical.

- Baby liquid soap. It is not advisable to use shampoo before 6 months.

If you are going to bathe your baby alone, then you should buy a special slide.
Washcloths or sponges are not the first necessity, since the baby's skin remains very tender for up to a year. It is enough to wash all the folds and the body with your hand. Over time, you can buy a circle around your neck for swimming in the bathroom. But only after consulting a neurologist or orthopedist.

- Bag for baby's things.
- Carrying. It is very convenient to use, as auto-cradle very heavy and uncomfortable. And the baby is very comfortable to sleep in it.

- Two bottles with a nipple.

- Brush for washing bottles.

- Drinking cup.
If the financial opportunity allows, then you can buy a sterilizer, a heater and a thermal bag. But as practice shows, you can easily do without these things.

- Undershirts. There must be at least 10 of them. Depending on from the season choose warm or lightweight models.

- Socks or booties.
- If the birth is planned in winter, then a warm overalls. Since the baby will grow out of the envelope very quickly.
- Bodysuits and slips. Enough for 1-2 pieces. Mostly dress for a walk or to see a doctor.
