Home Family and home Effective ways to get bugs out of an apartment

Human housing always attracts insect pests. For them, an apartment or a house is an ideal living environment - it is dry, warm, and satisfying. Under favorable conditions, insects multiply quickly and bring many problems to apartment owners and pets.

Where do small bugs come from in an apartment?

It is very difficult to accurately determine the cause and path of the appearance of bugs in the home. There are several possible options:

  • Bugs can freely enter the apartment through unlocked windows or doors. Therefore, with frequent ventilation, it is imperative to install a mesh on the windows. Insects can get through even the narrowest crevices. Therefore, when bugs appear, the first thing to do is to check the tightness of the window openings.
  • Pests can enter a room through cracks in walls or through heating or plumbing pipes. Insects make their way through the cracks from neighbors, and from the entrance, as well as from the basement.
  • It is imperative to install protection on the ventilation openings. Through a hole unprotected with a mesh, not only microscopic beetles, but also larger insects or even rodents can get into the apartment.
  • Insects can be accidentally brought from the street on clothes or wool pets... Then they migrate to furniture or walls and find a comfortable place in their apartment.

In any case, you need to get rid of the beetles as soon as possible, otherwise they will multiply quickly and it will be very difficult to remove them.

These bugs prefer dry places, they feel especially good in the apartment in winter, when the air is dry with central heating. In most cases, adult insects fly only during the daylight hours, and in the dark they hide in shelters. The larvae are active throughout the entire time.

The kozheedy feed on any organic matter that they come across. It can be leather, fur, feathers, fabrics of natural origin. Especially kozheedov like to feed on silk. Also, insects do not disdain meat, cheese and other products.
Kozheedy harm everything they eat. They are happy to destroy food, paper, clothes, furniture. They can also bite people, making their way to the surface from the pillows, where they climb to feast on feathers. Kozheedov bites are very painful and very dangerous. Products contaminated with skin debris must be discarded immediately. Dangerous diseases can be contracted from them.

Black bugs in the apartment

Black beetles are called beetles or flour beetles. They got this name because their favorite habitat and food is cereals. In a short period of time, Khrushchaks are able to render a large number of products unusable.

Depending on the species, beetles can grow up to 13 mm in length. They settle in places where there is a lot of grain and cereals. They can live both in warm and unheated rooms.

In addition to spoilage of food, bugs pollute everything around with their waste products and discarded skins of grown larvae. Therefore, at the first detection, it is necessary to sound the alarm and get rid of uninvited guests.

Flying bugs in the apartment

The bugs flying around the apartment are the same kozheedy and beetles. It's just that not all varieties of these beetles are capable of flying. Adult beetles prefer to fly during the daytime, hiding in safe places at night.

Bugs fly very slowly, in some cases, when observing them, it seems that they are given this action with difficulty. When they collide with a person, the bugs are thrown onto their backs, apparently pretending to be dead.
