- 1.5 kg of cottage cheese;
- 600 g sour cream;
- 300 g sugar;
- 300 g butter;
- 300 g cream, preferably thick;
- 7 yolks;
- 1 bag of vanillin;
- some salt;
- 100 g of dried fruits or nuts.
- Place the curd under a press to squeeze out excess moisture.
- Pass the prepared product through a sieve.
- Wipe the yolks with sugar as much as possible.
- Gradually add cream, yolks, vanillin, soft butter, dried fruit, or nuts.
- Mix everything and put in a pasochny.
- Put a towel on top and place a weight on top. Leave Easter in a cool place for a while.
Easter is ready!
Custard easter
To make a dish, take:
- 1.5 kg of cottage cheese;
- 250 g butter;
- 3 eggs;
- 350 g sour cream;
- some salt.
- Place the curd under a press to squeeze out excess moisture.
- Rub the prepared mass through a sieve.
- Combine butter, 2 eggs, sour cream and heat until boiling.
- Pour the resulting mixture into the prepared cottage cheese.
- Add salt and another egg gradually.
- Stir the mixture well until smooth, place in a mold and place under oppression.
- Leave Easter in a cool place for a while.
Easter is ready!
How Easter cottage cheese is made in a monastery: an old recipe
In monasteries, the recipe for preparing Easter is practically no different from those that we cook at home. The main thing is that a special prayer is read before the beginning of the ritual.

- 600 g sour cream;
- 300 g sugar;
- 300 g butter;
- 7 eggs;
- 1 bag of vanillin;
- salt;
- 100 g nutmeg.
- Place the curd under a press to squeeze out excess moisture.
- Rub the prepared mass through a sieve.
- Mix butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, eggs, and heat. Do not let the mixture boil, as soon as you notice the first bubble, remove from heat.
- While continuing to stir, let the mixture cool slightly and add vanillin, sugar and nutmeg.
- Put the finished mass in a pasochny and leave in the cold under oppression for 4 hours.
For decoration, you can use chocolate, marmalade, lollipops.
