- 600 g sour cream;
- 300 g sugar;
- 300 g butter;
- 300 g cream, preferably thick;
- 7 yolks;
- 1 packet of vanillin;
- a little salt;
- 100 g dried fruits or nuts.
- Place the cottage cheese under a press to squeeze out excess moisture.
- Pass the prepared product through a sieve.
- Rub the yolks with sugar as much as possible.
- Gradually add cream, yolks, vanillin, soft butter, dried fruits or nuts.
- Mix everything and put it in a bowl.
- Place a towel on top and place a weight on top. Leave the Easter in a cool place for a while.
Easter is ready!
Custard Easter
To prepare the dish, take:
- 1.5 kg of cottage cheese;
- 250 g butter;
- 3 eggs;
- 350 g sour cream;
- a little salt.
- Place the cottage cheese under a press to squeeze out excess moisture.
- Rub the prepared mass through a sieve.
- Combine butter, 2 eggs, sour cream, and heat the mixture until boiling.
- Pour the resulting mixture into the prepared cottage cheese.
- Gradually add salt and another egg.
- Mix the mixture well until smooth, place in the mold and place under pressure.
- Leave the Easter in a cool place for a while.
Easter is ready!
How they make cottage cheese Easter in a monastery: an old recipe
In monasteries, the recipe for preparing Easter is practically no different from what we prepare at home. The main thing is that before the start of the ritual a special prayer is read.

To prepare the dish, take:

- 600 g sour cream;
- 300 g sugar;
- 300 g butter;
- 7 eggs;
- 1 packet of vanillin;
- salt;
- 100 g nutmeg.
- Place the cottage cheese under a press to squeeze out excess moisture.
- Rub the prepared mass through a sieve.
- Mix butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, eggs, and set to heat. Do not let the mixture boil; as soon as you notice the first bubble, remove from heat.
- Continuing to stir, let the mixture cool slightly and add vanillin, sugar and nutmeg.
- Place the finished mass in a bean bag and leave in the cold under pressure for 4 hours.
For decoration you can use chocolate, marmalade, candies.
