How to remove a grease stain from a jacket

There are several ways to remove greasy dirt from your jacket:
- Add some water to regular potato starch to make a gruel. Apply the mixture to spot and leave to work for about half an hour. Then just shake off the starch with a soft, damp cloth.
- Use baking soda to remove the stain from your leather jacket. Just sprinkle it on the soiled area and wait 5 minutes. Then simply shake the baking soda off the jacket and wipe off the rest with a damp cloth. You can use talcum powder instead of baking soda.

If the fabric from which the item is sewn is delicate, it is prohibited to use aggressive stain removers. In this case, mix water, ammonia and glycerin in equal proportions. Apply this mixture generously to the dirty area and wait 3 hours. Then wash the fabric and evaluate the result. If there are still marks of the stain, re-treat the stain.
Another effective way to remove stubborn grease stains is with a dishwashing detergent. Lubricate the contaminated area with it and set aside for 2 days. Then wash the fabric.
How to remove grease from paper

Spread the dirty document on a flat surface and cover with a damp cloth. Now run the hot iron over the napkin. Change the wipes as the oil is absorbed.
Crush a piece of school white chalk into a powder and sprinkle it over the stain. Put the same wet wipes on top and iron with a hot iron. The chalk powder will absorb the fat. If the stain does not disappear the first time, repeat the procedure with a new portion of chalk.
Sprinkle table salt on the problem area and cover with a fresh sheet of paper. Run the hot iron several times over the paper. As a result, the salt will absorb the fat. But don't heat the iron too much. Otherwise, the printed text will go to the top sheet.
Removing stains from paper is very difficult. Try the recipe on a different sheet of paper of the correct weight first. You may need to use several recipes to get a good result.
