• Espresso coffee makers. They are intended for gourmets who are used to drinking exceptionally strong and aromatic espresso. During the preparation of the drink, boiling water or steam passes through the ground coffee under great pressure. Depending on the type of coffee maker, the pressure and temperature of the water may differ. But, the bigger they are, the tastier and more aromatic the coffee turns out. Although their cost is quite high, their functionality does not differ much from the previous types: you just need to add coffee, add water and press a button. Some models of these coffee makers allow you to prepare lungo, cappuccino, ristretto, latte, etc.

To choose a quality coffee maker for your home, you need to pay attention to the following parameters:

• Productivity. The power of the device does not in any way affect the taste of the prepared drink, so there is no point in paying for high parameters. Even the simplest device can make 20-30 cups of coffee a day.
• Brewing method. In this case, everything is individual. Some people find it easier to buy pods or capsules, while others prefer to choose their own coffee beans and experiment.

• Water supply method. The heating system in coffee makers is either cumulative or flow-through. In systems of the first type, water is supplied from a tank, and it is heated in full. This can spoil the taste of the coffee. Systems of the second type, in turn, heat only the amount of water that is needed to prepare a drink. The remaining liquid is drained into a special container.
