To regain your debate appearance, you should follow some rules:

  1. During lactation, fats are needed.  They are needed for the proper functioning of the nervous system. A lack of fat leads to the fact that the mother quickly gets tired, becomes overly nervous, and the growth of hair and nails is disrupted. Mothers often attribute this to a lack of calcium and introduce more fermented milk products into their diet - the effect is zero.  In this situation, it is necessary to consume nuts, salads with the addition of vegetable oil, preferably olive oil, and fish. It is better to exclude confectionery products; they are not useful in this case.
  2. Sweets are also necessary. You can replace sweets and cakes with jam or marmalade prepared at home. However, they should contain less sugar than usual. Dried fruits will be useful; their regular consumption will enrich the body with essential minerals.
  3. Natural products.  Any chemical additives should be excluded, they contribute to the occurrence of allergic reactions. The flavor enhancers and preservatives contained in such products inhibit the onset of a feeling of fullness, increasing hunger. Mom should eat only fresh foods.
  4. Variety of menu. Whatever the diet, it deprives the body of energy. And for a nursing mother, proteins, fats and carbohydrates are simply necessary. It is necessary to develop a menu so that it contains all the components for the proper development of the baby without harming the health of the mother. Any restrictions can affect the baby’s health; it turns out that by making herself beautiful, the mother cripples the child.

A strict diet is harmful not only for the mother, but also for the baby. The danger also lies in the fact that a woman may simply lose milk.  During lactation, you should drink more liquid, because milk is 90% water - the daily norm is 1.5-2 liters. You can brew it for weight loss during lactation  special fee: To do this, take fennel, nettle and fenugreek in equal quantities.

Helpful advice: the mother should not finish eating after the baby; this applies to those who are already introducing complementary foods to the baby. The opinion that you need to eat for two during breastfeeding is false. In fact, everything is not so: for the body to function properly, you need an additional 800 kcal per day, of which 30% comes from fat reserves. It turns out that during lactation an additional approximately 500 kcal is required.
