Masks for dry hair
Dry hair can remain free from oil for a long time, so it does not require frequent washing and is very convenient with this feature. However, there are many more problems with dry hair, so care for it should be more thorough. We will tell you in detail how to properly take care of dry hair in this article.
How to care for dry hair
Dry hair, as a rule, does not occur in its pure form. Very often it is accompanied cross section, porosity and other problems. Hair can be dry by nature, or be the result of the life activity of its owner. In any case, dry hair is due to a lack of oil, which is secreted by the glands in order to protect the hair from negative environmental factors.
An unhealthy diet that lacks vitamins, especially vitamin A and E, greatly affects the hair, which leads to dryness. Improper care, such as frequent use of a hair dryer and straightening irons, can be a destructive factor. All of them are aimed at evaporating moisture from the hair. There are cases when dry hair manifests itself as a symptom of problems in the body, so if the problem appears unexpectedly, it is better to consult a specialist. Exposure to sunlight, bad water, low-quality shampoos and hair cosmetics - all this also does not have the best effect on the hair. To ensure that the effects of dryness do not make themselves felt, and that the hair itself looks moisturized, well-groomed and beautiful, you need to provide it with high-quality care.
Since this type of hair is the most sensitive, you need to be very careful when caring for it. Under no circumstances should you wash your hair frequently, even if it has become a habit; put in enough effort to make the washing process less frequent. In the meantime, get out of the habit, buy a shampoo that will have a corresponding mark that the product is suitable for everyday use. It is important that the shampoo is suitable for your hair type, since, for example, if you wash dry curls with a product for oily hair, this will seriously aggravate the problem.
Wash your hair only with warm or even slightly cool water, because hot water will cause even more dryness. To care for dry hair, be sure to do it at least once a week. moisturizing masks that are designed for your curl type.
Every time before washing, half an hour before the procedure, apply coconut or olive oils to your hair and scalp, cover with a plastic bag and towel. This is something like a mask, which does not take much time, but the result of such a procedure is simply amazing.
After washing, never rub your curls with a towel, just lightly blot. Use a hairdryer only when absolutely necessary, or dry it just a little, and then let it dry naturally. In this case, the required amount of water will remain in the hair, and the excess will evaporate. If you do use a hairdryer, use cold or, in extreme cases, warm air for drying, but not hot air.
Use combs that are made from natural materials and never comb your hair while it is still damp. This harms the structure of the curls. In order not to completely spoil dry hair, it is strongly recommended not to use light shades when dyeing.
Trim your hair regularly to avoid dry ends. There is no need to spare the length, if the hair looks like straw, then what is the point of keeping it like that? It’s better to let them be shorter, but beautiful and neat.
Try to drink more clean water, since a lack of moisture in the hair often manifests itself due to insufficient hydration of the body itself.
In summer, try to use hair cosmetics that have a sun protection factor. Buy only high-quality and proven products that are suitable specifically for your hair. You can find out exactly what they will like from a hairdresser who will evaluate the curls.
Masks for dry hair with oils
Masks containing healing oils are ideal for caring for dry hair. Making them is not so difficult, but still, if time is short, you can simply apply the oil in its pure form (with the exception of esters) to your curls some time before washing and hide everything under plastic.

The course duration is on average about four to five months, after which there is a break for a couple of months, after which everything resumes if necessary.
