How to cook gingerbread
The recipe for this delicacy is extremely simple. Even a novice housewife can handle it, and the list of products is suitable for any wallet.
Gingerbread cookies are lazy. Product List:
- wheat flour 750 g;
- vanillin 1 sachet;
- baking powder - on the tip of a knife;
- egg 2 pcs.;
- water 100 ml;
- butter 50 g;
- sugar 150 g;
- honey 50 g;
- cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger - to taste.
I would like to immediately note that you should not save money or be afraid of overdoing it with honey and spices. Each spice needs at least 1 tbsp in the dough.
Preparation:
- In a small saucepan, combine water, vanilla, honey and sugar. Boil the resulting mixture. Then boil until the consistency of liquid honey.

- While the sweet mixture is cooking, prepare the flour. Sift it through a sieve into a large bowl. Add baking powder and spices.

- Separate the yolks from the whites. Add the first ones to the dough. Egg whites are useful for icing.
- When the sweet mixture thickens, remove from heat and add butter. Let cool.

- Mix flour and honey liquid. The dough should be quite stiff. Taste for sweetness and sufficient spices. The main thing here is to resist and eat the dough right away. Because the base turns out to be surprisingly aromatic and very tasty, even raw.

- The easiest way to bake gingerbread cookies is to spoon them onto a baking sheet. Which must be covered with baking paper and oiled well. You can also roll out the dough and cut out absolutely any figures - animals, people. You can just roll the balls.

- Prepare the glaze. Apply to gingerbread cookies. If desired, you can add food coloring and paint the gingerbread cookies as you please.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the baking sheet with gingerbread cookies in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Don't turn down the fire.

The best thing to do is turn off the stove and let the gingerbreads cool without opening it.
How to make gingerbread icing
The simplest glaze recipe - custard
You will need:
- whites from 2 eggs;
- sugar 50 g;
- small ladle;
- pot.
How to cook:
- Mix sugar and egg whites.
- Place in a water bath and continue stirring.
- Keep on fire for 5 minutes.
- Then remove and stir for another 7-10 minutes.
Lemon Glaze Recipe
Product List:
- powdered sugar 450 g;
- butter 100 g;
- lemon juice 2 tbsp. l.
Preparation:
- Mix all ingredients.
- Beat until the mixture thickens.
