The character of these cats is significantly different from others. Due to their short legs, they have no need to hunt; they never climb on tables. But don’t think that this is a calm animal. At “their” mundane  level, they are quite active. They run well, but they can’t jump.

Bengal kittens

Predators with a playful and affectionate character are Bengal kittens.

Domestic kittens of this breed have independence and special quirks. Their helpful nature makes them easy to train and adapt to new environments. They are devoted to their owners, one might say that not only is home comfort important to them, but like predators they are ready to protect it. Bengal kittens can be compared to guard dogs that guard the house and report every suspicious rustle to their owners.

The photo shows that Bengal kittens are short-haired, which means they do not require special care for their fur. Just like a regular cat, a Bengal needs to be brushed once a week. During shedding, which occurs quickly and unnoticed by the owners, the procedure should be increased to twice a week. The ears should be cleaned as needed, and the claws should be trimmed by two millimeters every 2 weeks. Teeth care should be carried out using special rubber toys or toothpaste with fish or meat flavor. Bengals are breaking the stereotype that cats are afraid of water. Unlike others, they will happily take a bath, but this should only be done if they are very dirty. 

Before you bring your kitten home, make sure you take into account his playful nature and hunting instincts. His spacious bed should be at a height, and along its perimeter there should be gymnastic equipment. In order not to harm your little Bengal's sense of smell, make sure that his bed is free of foreign odors.

Pamper your pet with meat; beef or rabbit is best for this. Sea fish should be served no more than once a week, since in nature predatory cats rarely feed on fish. Until your kitten is old enough for meat, feed him baby cottage cheese and kefir. All food should be at room temperature.

Exotic kittens

Exotic kittens have inherited a lot from their ancestors - the Persians. Therefore, their breed can also be called “Persian Exotic”. Kittens have a cute face, a quiet voice and a calm character. • tearfulness of the eyes.

Also, “primitive” care procedures should not be left without attention:

American Shorthair

When purchasing such a kitten, be prepared for its active lifestyle. 

These kittens have an affectionate, gentle and kind character, they have excellent health and stamina. At the same time, kittens are very lazy, so the owner must pay a lot of attention to the physical activity of the pet, otherwise the kitten will gradually turn into a short-haired ball.

“Americans” love to eat, especially when alone, and when consuming food they show their negative quality - greed. Kittens require constant care; in addition to physical activity, they need careful brushing, even if their fur is not particularly fluffy, this is especially important in the spring during the molting period. 

American kittens get along well with new owners, animals and children. They are easy to train, although their favorite pastime is snuggling with their owner and purring.

As already mentioned, such kittens are very lazy, but this does not prevent them from being real hunters; they have excellent speed and endurance.

Siberian kittens

They were mentioned by great Russian poets, they are considered a real treasure of Russia, the breed is close to the Norwegian Forest and Maine Coons. 

Kittens with Siberian blood are natural hunters. This pet feels best in the open air. Therefore, you need to walk such a kitten at least once a week.
