Not everyone manages to get a planned vacation or book a suitable tour. Many of us go on spontaneous vacations or time off, which we want to spend as interesting as possible away from home. In this case, you need to consider destinations where a visa is not required or one can simply be purchased at the border.

Which countries do not require a visa?

To bask in the sun and swim in the warm sea, you can visit the following places:

• Thailand allows visits lasting less than 30 days. Foreign passport must still be valid for 180 days. Upon entry you will be asked for a completed migration card. If a minor is traveling with an outside adult, then parental permission is required. The place attracts with a variety of entertainment and affordable prices for fresh seafood.

To visit Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Transnistria, Abkhazia, South Ossetia you don’t even need a foreign passport. It is enough to have a valid Russian one. The maximum length of stay will be 90-180 days.

If you want to go to the mountains without a visa, then choose: Andora, Armenia, Georgia, Montenegro. Countries have wonderful mountain trails, national cuisine, original culture. In Armenia you can also find healing complexes with mineral water.

Countries where you need a visa with registration at the border

Some states are not visa-free, but you can get a visa right at the border. It is pasted in at customs for a certain amount of money; no additional documents are required. These include:

• Egypt can be visited for 30 days for 25 USD. The resort is very popular among Russians and belongs to the budget category.

• Some island countries do not charge fees for their visa. These include: Marshall Islands, Madagascar, Fiji. You are allowed to stay on the territory for 90 days in Madagascar and the Marshall Islands, in Fiji - 120 days.
• You can go to Cambodia and East Timor for 30 days for 30 USD.

• Indonesia, Nauru, Samoa allow 30 days of free travel. The visa is issued at customs.
