Hair rinse decoctions
The primary advantage of rinsing hair with herbal decoctions is that these are natural, completely natural formulations that simply cannot do any harm. Unlike balms, which, if chosen incorrectly, can give exactly the opposite effect, this will not happen with broths. They gently but very effectively heal the curls, and then maintain this state.
Herbal decoctions are good for all hair, regardless of its type and color. But nevertheless, a conditional division can be made. The universal herbs include:
- Nettle. A very popular herb that shows amazing results literally from the very beginning of application.
- Burdock, also known as burdock, is a wonderful remedy for hair loss.
- Sage - a powerful blow to dandruff, soothes irritation well.
- Calendula nourishes the curls and makes them soft, heals acne that appears on the scalp.
- Chamomile gives shine, makes hair healthy and beautiful.
- Mint heals the scalp, removes dandruff and refreshes perfectly.
- Birch leaves have a complex effect on the hair and scalp.
- Basil promotes rapid hair growth and makes combing much easier.
- Rosemary adds volume, splendor and shine to even fine hair.
Also, herbs can be divided into groups, where one will include compositions for blondes, and the other for brunettes. This is due to the fact that each of the herbs presented tends to emphasize the shade of the hair by slightly coloring them. So, for example, brunettes can be advised the following combinations:
- strong tea with nettle and rosemary;
- rosemary with sage;
- horsetail with oak bark and nettles;
- Strongly brewed coffee with linden.
And for blondes these combinations will be to their liking:
- lemon juice with chamomile;
- vinegar with chamomile and calendula;
- chamomile with horsetail and hop cones;
- lemon juice with rhubarb root.
Further, the division occurs according to the problems that are inherent in hair. For dry curls that have lost their beautiful shine and look lifeless, recipes for the following decoctions are very suitable:
- Pour chamomile flowers with half a liter of water and boil for ten minutes. After that, remove from heat and let stand for ten minutes. Strain and use as directed, after adding a little fresh lemon juice.
- Pour a couple of large spoons of mountain ash with a liter of water and prepare a decoction. With the finished composition, you need to rinse your hair twice a week.
- Pour four large tablespoons of birch leaves with a liter of boiling water and let stand for half an hour. Rinse your hair with a ready-made tincture every time you wash.
If we talk about oily hair type, then here will come to the rescue:
- burdock;
- mother and stepmother;
- spruce;
- fir;
- chamomile;
- Linden;
- oak bark;
- calendula.
With any of the herbs presented, you can prepare decoctions by pouring three tablespoons of the dry product with a liter of water. You can experiment and mix several herbs at the same time to prepare a rinse composition. Of all the varieties, nettle and oak bark are especially popular. However, for light hair, the oak bark may be too dark, so you need to either reduce the concentration or replace it with another, more suitable.
