Parasites are lower organisms that got their name due to the way of their existence, because they do not live in symbiosis with the human body, like, for example, intestinal bacteria, but feed on substances that the "host" will eventually receive less. In addition, parasites can cause many diseases. What knowledge is needed to protect yourself from uninvited guests? And what if the infection has already occurred?

Where do parasites in the body come from?

Experts assure that almost the entire population of the planet is in one way or another infected with parasites. And they live not only in the intestines, as many believe, any organ or tissue is suitable for them - lungs, liver, kidneys and even nails. The most common ones are:

• The human roundworm, as a rule, enters the body through contaminated household items and unwashed foods - fruits and vegetables, meat. It affects the heart, brain, eyes, intestines. The carrier is not only humans, but also animals.
• Pinworm infection occurs through the contact-household route - dirty hands, towels, toys. Especially common among children.
• Most of the parasites belong to the group of tapeworms, including bovine tapeworm and broad tapeworm. Their danger lies in the fact that this species does not have its own digestive system, therefore, it exists due to the suction of nutrients. Infected patients are often found to be deficient in some vitamins and minerals.
• Roundworms reach 35 cm in length and are capable of infecting any organs and tissues, throwing poisonous waste into the blood.

Traditionally, it is believed that parasites appear only in those who neglect the norms of hygiene, in fact, there are 4 main ways of infection:

• Alimentary - means the ingress of dangerous organisms into the human body through food and water. Separately, it is worth highlighting helminths that originally live in animal meat. Especially dangerous are bovine and pork tapeworms, which can grow up to several meters in length and parasitize for many years. Freshwater fish often causes opisthorchiasis.
• Pinworms and lamblia enter the body through dirty hands and household items. In the children's team, such an "infection" spreads very rapidly, the main symptom is itching in the anus.
• The transmission path is infection through blood-sucking insects.
• With an active method of ingestion of helminths, a person is in direct contact with water and earth, for example, when walking with bare feet or swimming in an infected reservoir.

Symptoms of parasites in the body

In order to exist in the human body, "freeloaders" are able to cling to the walls of tissues and organs with the help of special suction cups and hairs, thereby causing inflammation. Symptoms of the appearance of parasites in the body are associated with their location. Sometimes they are similar to signs of other diseases, for example, pneumonia (larvae settle in the lungs), pancreatitis, or an attack of appendicitis. In addition, diseases associated with the vital activity of parasites can be manifested by frequent colds, tonsillitis and bronchitis. However, it is possible to name general symptoms:

• General intoxication of the body - a person feels a headache, chills, nausea or lack of appetite, fever.
• An allergic rash can appear and disappear for a while regardless of dermatological treatment. In people with a tendency to allergies, the reaction is very pronounced, up to swelling of the mucous membranes.
• Iron-deficiency anemia. Since parasites feed on humans, over time, many important substances in the body become catastrophically small. The main symptom of anemia is general weakness, loss of strength, pale skin.

• Pain in the right hypochondrium, radiating to the shoulder.

Folk remedies for parasites in the human body

Natural parasite control agents are much safer than synthesized drugs, yet they are very popular and effective.

In the early stages of infection, it is enough to use a number of products that have a detrimental effect on helminths:

• garlic;
• onions, radishes;
• horseradish;
• pumpkin seeds;
• raw carrots and beets;
• pomegranate, grapefruit.

As a preventive measure, you can cleanse the intestines with the help of cabbage, beetroot, carrot, pineapple freshly squeezed juice, rosehip infusion, spices - coriander.

One of the famous folk ways cure for parasites is to mix one part of ground cloves and 10 parts of flax seeds. The medicine is added to food, the course is one month, use according to the scheme three after three. It is believed that the remedy eliminates all types of helminths, except ascaris. The effect is based on the content of eugenol in the clove, which gently and reliably cleanses the body of unwanted guests. To enhance the effect, you can add chopped walnut shells or garlic.

Another popular Russian folk way is the so-called troichetka. The main components are tansy, ground cloves and bitter wormwood. Many claim that such a tandem provides a powerful blow to parasites and has an antiseptic effect.
