Pie with pears: recipe with step-by-step photos

How to prepare shortbread dough
The shortcrust pastry recipe is simple and accessible to everyone. You can make pies and cookies from it.
For shortbread dough you will need:
- butter 200 g;
- flour 300 g;
- vanillin 1 g;
- sugar 100 g.
Cooking method:
- Cut the butter into pieces and leave it near a warm place to melt.

- After 20 minutes, add sugar, vanillin and flour to the butter.
- Mash the ingredients thoroughly to form a stiff dough.

- If it turns out dry, you can add a couple of tablespoons of milk.
- Roll the dough into a ball and put it in the refrigerator.
Now you can roll out and prepare desserts. Remember, the amount of sugar is to taste. If you use shortcrust pastry to make a pie with filling or cookies with dried fruits, less sugar will be needed. You can also put 100 g of cottage cheese in the dough.
How to make shortcrust pastry pie with pear filling 
Prepare the dough according to the recipe given above. Then you can roll it out, or you can do it easier.
- place 2/3 of the dough in a baking dish;
- level it with a spoon, do not forget to make sides;

- grate the pear into the center of the mold using a coarse grater;
- sprinkle with cinnamon;

- smooth out the filling;
- Make a “lid” from the remaining dough.
You can also roll out the dough to close the pie. Or you can take small pieces, knead them thinly with your hands and place them on top of the filling. When all the pieces are laid out, take a spoon and carefully smooth them out. No need to crush or press the cake. The dough is soft and pliable—it spreads out perfectly and effortlessly.
