Home Health Products with vitamin B17

It is not entirely correct to call B17 a vitamin; it is a vitamin-like substance belonging to the B-group vitamins. For a long time it was extracted only from the seeds of bitter almonds, but in 1952 the substance was developed in the laboratory.

The benefits of vitamin B17

Apricot-Seeds

Vitamin B17 is little used in official medicine. However, it has found wide application in non-traditional. Its most important property is considered to be the substance’s ability to fight cancer cells without damaging healthy ones. Scientists explain this by saying that cancer cells begin to develop in the body precisely because of a lack of B17, and by making up for this deficiency, a person is cured.

B17 can also be used as a pain reliever. Among other things, it speeds up metabolism, improves skin condition, treats arthritis and reduces blood pressure.

Bitter almond seeds, containing B17, have been used as a universal medicine since ancient times in Egypt. But there are very frequent cases of poisoning and even death. This is because B17 contains a substance called cyanide. Too frequent and excessive use of it can have a bad effect on the body.

Despite official medicine’s denial of B17’s ability to fight cancer, there is evidence of this claim from non-scientific circles. Simple statistics show that the lowest incidence of cancer is where bones are consumed as food. For example, in India, cancer is extremely rare there.

Among other things, B17 has the following positive effects on the body:

  • fights heart disease;
  • has a sedative effect;
  • helps restore and improve vision;
  • strengthens the immune system.

The American scientist E. Krebs spoke about the benefits of consuming vitamin B17. He argued that this is one of the most valuable substances for humans, possessing incredible properties and absolutely harmless. He explained this by saying that B17 consists of cyanide and benzenedehyde, connected by glucose, which is a reliable connecting link. And cyanide can harm a person only if this bond is broken. But this can only happen with an increased amount of beta-glucoside, which is minimal in the human body. Its increase occurs only in oncology. It is in this case that B17 comes into contact with beta-glucoside, breaking the molecular bonds, releasing cyanide, which kills cancer cells.

What foods contain vitamin B17

Vitamin B17 can be seen in small doses in many foods. However, its largest proportion is found in the seeds of fruits and berries:

  • Quince;
  • cherry;
  • raspberries;
  • bird cherry;
  • cranberries;
  • gooseberries;
  • blackberries;
  • raisins.

Wild berries and fruits contain higher concentrations of B17. To determine this, it is not necessary to take the product to the laboratory. Everything will become clear by the bright taste of bitterness.

In addition to fruits and berries, B17 is also found in:

  • cereals (rice, buckwheat);
  • legumes (lentils, beans, peas);
  • linseed oil.

In addition to natural products, in stores and pharmacies you can find so-called dietary supplements (dietary supplements) that contain a high content of B17. However, these products are not medicines, and are even prohibited for use in some countries. Dietary supplements contain not natural, but artificial B17, also called laetral.
