Proper care for problem skin
For any skin type, including problem skin, care begins with a cleansing procedure. You need to cleanse your skin at least twice a day – morning and evening. Use plain water to wash your face. But try not to wash your face with chlorinated tap water. At a minimum, it should be cleaned with a household filter. But it is best to use bottled water for washing.
For washing For problematic skin, you can use special products - foams and gels for washing. It is important that they are designed specifically for your type. Such products gently remove makeup residue and other impurities from the skin, they regulate sebum production and make the face matte and beautiful.
After washing your face, be sure to wipe your skin with a cotton pad soaked in a toner for problem skin. Many women neglect this point, believing that simply washing their face is enough. But this is a completely wrong position. The toner removes any remaining cleanser, closes pores and tightens the skin. It is best to use these products from the same series. This way you will enhance the effect.
Once or twice a week, be sure to do a deeper cleansing of the facial skin using peelings and scrubs. These products clean pores well and remove old dirt. It is best to set aside time for the peeling procedure before going to bed. Then overnight the skin will have time to rest and calm down. Again, use peels designed specifically for problem skin. During the procedure, do not try to rub the skin too much to avoid damaging it. Use lukewarm water to rinse off the peeling agent.

Cosmetics for problem skin
Facial skin, which is far from ideal, needs a very responsible selection of decorative cosmetics. First of all, pay attention to the labeling. The packaging must indicate that this product is suitable for problem skin. Otherwise, you risk getting yourself into even more trouble.
Pay attention to the composition of the product; it should not contain mineral oils, petroleum jelly or cocoa butter. These products are not suitable for acne-prone skin. There must be medicinal components among the components. These can be disinfectants, anti-rosacea or others, depending on the problem.
Buy cosmetics that have a high degree of UV protection, since problem skin is very sensitive to the sun.
In general, try to use less concealer if you have problem skin. An extra layer of makeup clogs pores and causes new inflammation. As they say, the problem must be treated, not masked.
