How to cook cheese: a step by step recipe

There is a great idea - to make homemade curd cheese. It can be smeared on bread, or it can be used in sweet pastry recipes - the choice is yours. And this article will tell you how to make curd cheese with your own hands.
How to cook cheese
In fact, this dish is prepared as easy as shelling pears. It will take about half an hour, and the products are available to everyone. 
So, to make homemade cheese, you will need:
- fat-free kefir 1 liter;
- milk 1 liter;
- chicken egg 1 pc .;
- juice of 1 lemon wedge;
- salt and spices.
Cooking method:
- Pour milk into a large saucepan. Add salt.

- Put on fire and boil.

- Reduce the gas and, stirring occasionally, pour in the kefir.

- The liquid immediately disintegrates into flakes and whey.
- Prepare a colander.
- Cover it with gauze, folded several times.

- Pour the milk liquid into a colander. This is done in order to glass the serum.
- This process will take about 15 minutes. To shorten the time, you can squeeze the bag with your hands when it cools.
- The more the liquid drains, the denser the product will be.

- While the whey is draining, beat the egg and lemon juice.

- The egg mass should turn white.
- Place the prepared milk mass in the saucepan again.

- Pour in the egg.

- Add spices and salt. If you do not add additional salt, it will taste like ricotta or mascarpone.

- Put on the smallest heat and heat for 7-10 minutes. Stirring constantly.

- If desired, you can add finely chopped herbs and pickles. Or grease thin pita bread with this composition, put pieces of red fish on top, roll with a roll and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
