How to clean the carpet
Before proceeding directly to the process cleansing, you need to decide on the means by which we will do this. Today, a fairly large assortment of various means for cleaning carpets, upholstery and other textile materials is produced.
You can use, for example, the following tools:
- Powder Sanlux, which among its components does not contain harmful substances and does not harm pets and humans.
- The Karcher cleaner perfectly cleans carpets and upholstery. This product is applied in the form of a foam to the carpet and removes dirt. Drying, the foam forms a powder that can be removed with a regular vacuum cleaner.
- The Spot Lifter textile cleaner can be used for both dry cleaning and wet cleaning. It perfectly cleans various types of floor coverings.
How to quickly clean your carpet at home
All coatings need regular cleaning. Dry cleaning, that is, with an ordinary vacuum cleaner, you need to do it at least twice a week. Once a year, it is necessary to transfer the carpet to the open air and knock it out with a special device. You need to knock out until it stops spilling out of the carpet dust and other pollution.
Use coarse edible salt to remove visible stains on the carpet. The salt scatters over the surface of the carpet, and after half an hour, it must be swept away with a broom soaked in water.
The carpet should be wet cleaned once a month. To do this, use a special substance. It is better to select it depending on the material from which the carpet is made. Always finish any wet cleaning with a dry vacuum cleaner. If you use a brush to clean the carpet, do not rub against the direction of the pile. This could damage the carpet.
How to remove carpet stains
You can use regular baking soda to remove all kinds of stains from your carpet. It works great on most stains. Plus, baking soda will not only help get rid of the stain, but also eliminate the smell.
Sprinkle baking soda evenly over the stain and wait half an hour for it to work. Then just vacuum up the baking soda and the stain will disappear completely. Instead of baking soda, you can use starch, salt, or raw potatoes.
If the stain cannot be removed with soda, then use ammonia. But remember that ammonia can discolor fabric, so try it on an invisible area of carpet first. Mix half a liter of water, a teaspoon of detergent powder and rub it thoroughly into the place of contamination. Remove excess liquid with a napkin or dry cloth.
How to clean carpet with vanish
Procedure cleansing carpet such a popular tool as Vanish consists of several stages.
- First, vacuum the carpet thoroughly. And best of all, knock it out, then you will not have streaks on the carpet after cleaning.
- Now prepare the composition for cleaning. To do this, carefully read the instructions and strictly follow the proportions indicated there. The composition must be whipped to form a thick foam. To clean carpet or textile upholstery, only use the foam obtained, otherwise it may shrink.
Now take a brush or sponge and foam the entire area of the carpet. No need to rub the foam into the pile. It is enough just to apply it in an even layer. Beat the foam again as you use it. If you need to remove the stain, apply undiluted Vanish foam to it, wait half an hour and continue cleaning again.
- Now let the foam dry completely. This process takes a couple of hours. To make the composition dry faster, open the windows. Never use a hair dryer or other heating devices to dry.
- The last step is dry cleaning with a vacuum cleaner. You need to collect dried foam. Do not apply pressure to the brush to avoid damaging the carpet pile.
