How to pack a suitcase
You have come the long-awaited vacation? Congratulations! It's time to pack your suitcase and go on a trip. What to take with you and how to fold everything to make it as compact as possible and at the same time convenient? We will talk about this topic today.
What to put in your suitcase
We recommend that you think over a list of things that you will need on your trip in advance. Better for 2 weeks to start compiling it, writing down the necessary things on a separate sheet. Then, before leaving, it will be easier for you to choose the essentials.
We present you with a universal list of things for travels... You can make your own adjustments to it depending on the season. The most important things are cash and documents. No trip will be complete without them. So, prepare:
- Passport or regular passport if you are on holiday in the country.
- Colored copies of your passport, they will be very useful if you suddenly lose your documents.
- Transport tickets.
- Availability.
- Bank cards.
- Medical insurance policy or medical insurance for travel abroad.
- Notebook and pen.
- A small purse or case to pack and keep with you.
In addition to documents and money, be sure to prepare the gadgets necessary for a modern person - this is a mobile phone and a charger for it, if necessary, take a camera, spare memory cards, batteries and a charger for it, headphones. If you need to go online often, grab a tablet or laptop. Don't forget to charge for these devices too. On some trips, you may also need a flashlight.
Now let's get into clothes and shoes. Collect clothes in sets. Collect your set of things for every 3 days. Choose an outfit so that things can be easily combined with each other. Be sure to consider the season and climate of your vacation destination. But even if you are going to a hot country, take a light jacket or jumper with you.
Be sure to bring enough underwear, as well as socks, a sleeping kit, a swimsuit, and some kind of headgear. Please bring an extra pair of footwear in case of inclement weather and slippers if not provided by your hotel. Don't forget to bring your sunglasses.
Be sure to collect a small first aid kit. It should include pain relievers, absorbents, food poisoning products, cream for burns and wounds, remedies for relieving cold symptoms, antipyretics, dressings, and something for treating wounds and cuts. If you have chronic diseases, then supplement the list with the remedies you need.
Also prepare cosmetics and personal care products, nail scissors, a mirror, napkins and a comb. For convenience in transport, grab a special pillow, preferably an inflatable one.
How to pack things in a suitcase
After the list has been compiled, you can start laying them in suitcase... To get started, collect everything in one place, for example, put everything on the bed. So you will have everything before your eyes and you will not forget anything.
First of all, put the things that have the largest weight on the very bottom of the suitcase. These include chargers, batteries, cosmetic bag, first aid kit. Place the shoes wrapped in plastic on the sides of the suitcase. To keep your shoes from warping, push rolled up socks inside. Fill the space that remains inside with belts and jeans twisted into a tight roller.
Place lighter clothing neatly on top. To avoid wrinkling, fold clothes on top of each other in a cross, placing the most wrinkled items at the bottom of the stack. Then place your rolled-up underwear and wrinkle-free clothing on top.
Another option for a convenient layout of things.
Convenient suitcase organizer
To more conveniently place things in a suitcase, you can use a special organizer. Usually it consists of several covers for things of different sizes. Their shape can be different. There are cases in the form of bags with a zipper or drawstrings. Only the lightest clothes and underwear will fit in these covers. As a rule, a mesh serves as a material for the manufacture of covers of this shape.
In the cases, made in the form of small suitcases, you can put a lot more things and other little things. Additional pockets for individual items are placed inside the covers. Such covers can be made of dense fabric, or with mesh inserts. They are much more spacious than the previous ones, you can put not only clothes, but also shoes, and all other things. These covers are sold both individually and in whole sets. Some companies offer kits in different colors. Then you can pack the belongings of each family member in an organizer of your own color.
