How to sew a tulle tutu skirt

To make the simplest tutu skirt you will need:

• scissors;
• tulle 11 m;
• elastic tape 1.5 m.

1. We cut the fabric into strips. The length of the stripes is 2 lengths of the future product. The width of the strips is 18 cm. For convenience, we will wind the fabric on a cardboard rectangle. The length of the future skirt is equal to the longest side of the rectangle. You can simply line the fabric into stripes using a ruler and pencil. Then cut along the marked strips.
2. For such cases, tulle is sold in rolls. American nylon is called. The material has already been cut to the correct width. We wind the tulle tape on a cardboard blank. How to sew an American tulle skirt

The fabric consumption is indicated for a skirt with a length of 30 centimeters, with a waist circumference of 60 centimeters.

We need:

• nylon tulle 2 m;
