How to remove limescale in the bathroom
Tap water contains mineral salts that settle on all surfaces in the bathroom. To remove these lime deposits, you can use modern cleaning products or use recipes from folk craftsmen.

How to clean limescale
First of all, deposits settle on the surface of the shower and mixer tap. There are several ways to clean them. Use regular boiling water or steam to start. Simply direct the stream to the faucet or shower head. The plaque will soon soften and can be cleaned without much effort.
If hot water does not help, then use cleansing acetic acid. Start treatment with a weak solution first. If the plaque does not respond, then gradually increase the concentration. Simply soak the stained areas of the appliance with the vinegar solution and wait for it to work. You need to wait about half an hour, then treat the device again with vinegar solution and wait another 30 minutes. Now remove the soaked plaque with a sponge.

- Ceramic tiles can be quickly cleaned of plaque by first spraying 6% vinegar on them. Wait a little and remove the dirt with a sponge or soft brush.
- With the same vinegar you can clean heavily soiled sink. Warm it up and pour it into the sink, after closing the drain hole with a stopper. Take enough vinegar so that the contaminated areas are completely covered. Wait a few hours, drain the vinegar and scrub the dirty areas with a brush.
- To remove stains that form on the sink where the faucet is attached, use citric acid. Moisten dirty areas on the faucet and sink. Then apply citric acid to them and gently rub with a sponge.
- For cleaning acrylic surface, use citric acid. Dilute citric acid powder with water. Take two glasses of water per sachet of citric acid. Clean the acrylic surface thoroughly with this solution, paying special attention to the curves. After 20 minutes, repeat the procedure, and then rinse the surface with water.
- Any detergent is suitable for cleaning a cast iron or metal bathtub. Simply treat the surface with it, paying special attention to heavily soiled areas.
- To wash shower partitions made of glass or transparent plastic, use a simple soap solution. If the contamination is severe enough, use vinegar or citric acid.
Limescale remover
