How to properly remove cuticles
First, let's figure out what a cuticle is. This is the skin at the base of the nail plate that protects the nails from infections. What is growing is dead cells that must be removed in a timely manner so that there are no burrs, cracks, and the appearance of such a cuticle will cause untidy. This is what the manicure procedure is for. Manicure happens:
- edged;
- unedged;
- hardware.
During the trimming procedure, the skin is first soaked with a bath with salt or oils, then it is removed with special tweezers or scissors strictly according to the rules, at a certain angle. After any manicure, hands and cuticles must be lubricated with oil or cream to moisturize the skin.
IN unedged special cosmetics are used for manicure, most often they contain fruit acids that soften the cuticle. After that, the peel is carefully removed with an orange stick or spatula.
During the hardware procedure, the skin is not soaked with water, but processed “dry”. Moreover, the device removes only dead skin without affecting the living cuticle. But for home use, you first need to learn how to use the device and carefully study how the pens are processed with it.
To get rid of the cuticle, various tools are used: a pencil for removing a cuticle, a nail file, a trimmer, a spatula, scissors, nippers. Recently, the nail file is gaining popularity. Its surface resembles a mesh, and when applied, it does not touch the nail plates, but only, as it were, grinds dead cells into dust.
What to do to prevent the cuticle from growing
It would be great if the cuticle did not grow at all. However, this does not happen, but it is quite possible to stop its growth. There are several ways, but they all take time and diligence, because nothing happens at once.
Many cosmetic manufacturers produce special oils and gels, but they must be used every day. The use of beeswax in combination with natural oils gives a good effect. For such procedures, you will need 60 g of a bee product, a few drops of ethers and natural oils. Melt the wax and add oil, you get a cream that needs to be applied a couple of times a day. It will help not only stop growth, but also strengthen the nail plate.
Moisturizing the pens is also very important for cuticle growth. Well , of course, it is necessary to abandon the edged manicure and switch to hardware, or unedged, because the more often and more cut off the skin, the faster it will grow.
