Masks for clear pores
Even completely acne free face looks far from ideal if the pores are dirty. Timely cleansing of the face will allow you to maintain the dermis in impeccable condition, especially since if you do the procedures regularly, this will not be difficult.
How to make masks to clean pores
To pore cleaning was as effective as possible, when performing procedures you should follow some rules:
- Be sure to steam your skin before applying pore cleansers. There are several ways to do this. The most effective is to use a special sauna for the face. If you don’t have a suitable unit at home, boil water in a saucepan, and then hold your face over the steam, covering yourself with a towel. Instead of plain water, it is useful to prepare decoctions of medicinal herbs. Another low-cost way to steam your skin is to soak a small terry towel in hot water, squeeze it thoroughly and place it on your face. You need to do this several times, changing the canvas after cooling. Steaming your facial skin is much more effective than using scrubs, since dirt will come out much easier through open pores.

- Before distributing the cleansing composition all over your face, be sure to test for an allergic reaction. Prepare just a little mask and apply a small amount to the area behind your earlobe. If after a few hours there is no itching or redness, there is no allergy, you can use the mask for its intended purpose.
- The optimal exposure time for a detox mask is a quarter of an hour. To prepare masks, a variety of ingredients are used, including quite aggressive ones, so you cannot leave the mask on your face too long, so as not to get a burn and other unpleasant consequences.
- It is better to remove the mask from the face with water, in which you must first dissolve a small amount of lemon juice. It is very good if you boil the water beforehand (before adding the juice), this will serve as a useful softening.
- Always prepare the composition for one use only. Do not store ready-made masks, but use the prepared compositions immediately, since after 30-60 minutes the amount of useful substances will decrease significantly.
- After removing the mask, give your skin a rest and avoid applying thick creams and other compositions, otherwise this will lead to clogged pores.
It’s not difficult to follow these rules, but with them the skin cleansing procedure will become both pleasant and effective.

How often can you make pore masks?
There is no clear answer to how often you should clean your pores. On average, it is better to organize such procedures once every seven days. This will saturate the skin with oxygen and maintain its attractive appearance. This is especially true for women who use foundation and powder every day, since such cosmetics contribute to clogging of pores, which subsequently leads to the formation of blackheads.
