Often, many girls spend in stores cosmetics pretty decent amount of their finances. However, there is a way on this save- you can make lipstick, mascara, eyeshadow and other means with your own hands. DIY home cosmetics

• simple recipes that do not require rare ingredients and complex equipment.

Its only drawback is its short shelf life, which is typical for any natural product. Cook small portions 1 to 2 times. Such care will bring you maximum benefit and you will not have to throw the "delay" in the trash bin, because it is wasted time and money.

Making cosmetics at home is easy enough, you just need to stock up on the necessary ingredients. You can easily find them at home or buy them at the pharmacy. Today, stores that specialize in products for creating such "hand-made" cosmetics are gaining more and more popularity. All the "special" substances are sold there.

Now let's talk about how to prepare your inventory. The first thing you need is a scale. They must be very accurate, with a tolerance of two grams. Choose containers and dishes of a small volume, better enamel and ceramic. To store the finished product, prepare glass jars with a tightly screwed lid.

DIY shadows

Self cooked eyeshadow they turn out to be no worse than those bought in the store, and even better. After all, you have endless possibilities for experimenting with different shades.

To get friable mineral shadows, you need to visit a special store or order some components via the Internet:

• color pigments of your favorite shade;
• sericite (mica) - a mineral additive intended for the manufacture of cosmetics;
• if it is necessary to compress shadows, then do not forget about the additives with the "frightening" names of magnesium stearate and magnesium myristate;
• if possible, purchase a container for future eyeshadow, measuring spoons and glass sticks for stirring.

When everything is ready, you can start work:

1. Treat all inventory well with ethyl medical alcohol: spoons, sticks, mixing container, storage container.
2. Combine five parts sericite and half a stearate and mix them well.
3. Add color pigment to them until you get the desired tone, but no more than four parts.
4. Then pour the eyeshadow into a container and drop three or four drops of alcohol into them, mix. You can use a special press to make them denser.
5. Next, the container with the lid open should stand for at least five hours for the alcohol to evaporate.

DIY powder

There are many recipes for making powder from a variety of ingredients: starch, round rice, oatmeal, powder of various plants, the mineral "sericide" we already know.

The easiest and fastest way to make a cornstarch powder. For this we need:

• a glass of starch;
• the remaining blush or eyeshadow, which are suitable for obtaining the desired shade of powder.

Sift a quarter cup of starch well into a clean container. To it, gradually add the powdered blush (shadow) until the desired color is obtained. If you overdo it with the pigment, then you can additionally dilute the powder with starch.

DIY mascara

The basis for the preparation of handmade carcasses are activated carbon tablets.

So, mascara can be made in two ways:

1. A recipe consisting of just a couple of ingredients - charcoal and aloe juice. To do this, crush 1-2 tablets thoroughly and add 2-3 drops of juice. If you do not have such a plant at home, you can buy it ready-made at the pharmacy. Mix everything well and apply the resulting composition to the eyelashes with a mascara brush. We are waiting for a couple of minutes, it should dry out a little. The effect is no worse than from a purchased mascara. You can wash it off with ordinary warm water or make-up remover. You need to store it in the refrigerator, then you can use this tool within a week.
2. To get a thicker mascara, the previous recipe needs to be supplemented with beeswax or coconut oil. Be sure to melt these ingredients in a glass bowl before mixing everything. Then wait until it cools completely and you can apply makeup.

Add a drop of vitamin E to it and your eyelashes will receive additional care, because it helps to strengthen them.

DIY lipstick

Making lipstick is a little more laborious compared to recipes for other makeup products. Perhaps the desired result will not be obtained the first time. However, you just have to be patient, practice a little, and you will get a completely natural, safe product in an exclusive shade.

For a "classic" wax-based recipe we need:

• a water bath and a couple of containers to melt the ingredients, a wooden spoon, an empty lipstick bottle;
• beeswax, shea butter (or cocoa), coconut in equal proportions;
• food dyes or mineral pigments;
• sweeteners, flavorings, vitamins A, E at will.

Sequencing:

1. Melt all oils in a water bath until smooth, but do not bring to a boil.
2. Remove the mixture from the stove, add dyes and other ingredients. They need to be prepared in advance, as the mass quickly hardens. Mix everything thoroughly.
3. Pour hot lipstick into a bottle (it is convenient to use a syringe here). Leave it to cool until it hardens completely.

DIY shampoo

Most often, such shampoo includes egg yolk. Auxiliary components can be: gelatin, castor oil, various essential oils, mustard, honey and even brandy and banana.

Here are some versatile and easy ways to make it:

1. Moisturizing and nourishing shampoo: combine one chicken egg with a tablespoon of castor oil, mix well.
2. Stimulate hair growth: Mix the yolk with two tablespoons of strong tea and one spoonful of mustard. After applying to hair, leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with water.
3. Revitalizing and nourishing: pour 100 g of black bread with the same amount kefir and put in a warm place for two hours. Then beat everything with a blender and you can wash hair.
4. For soft and shiny hair: chop half of the banana core into a gruel, add 20 ml of lemon juice and one yolk. Mix it thoroughly until smooth.

DIY shower gel

The cleaning base for the homemade gel can be a baby or hypoallergenic bar soap, without excess odor and additives.

Let's look at a few recipes with healthy additives:

1. An invigorating gel. Grate the soap, add 75 ml of distilled water and heat in a water bath until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Then cool it a little and add 10 drops of orange and grapefruit essential oil, a tablespoon of sea salt, a teaspoon of glycerin. Beat this mixture with a whisk and pour into a bottle.
2. Chocolate gel. In a bowl, combine grated soap, a tablespoon of brown cane sugar and the same amount of cocoa butter, as well as a teaspoon of cocoa powder and cinnamon, five drops of cinnamon essential oil and 50 ml of full-fat milk. Heat in a water bath until all components are completely dissolved, stirring the mass from time to time with a whisk. Remove from heat and cool.

DIY hair balm

The preparation methods for this product are very simple, and the components are available:

1. Firming balm. Combine a couple of eggs, two tablespoons of castor oil, and one spoonful of apple cider vinegar. Whisk until smooth. Add 3 tablespoons of your shampoo. Apply to washed hair for 20 minutes, put a plastic cap on top. Rinse off with warm water.
2. For split ends. Combine one egg, two teaspoons of olive oil and the same honey with three tablespoons of shampoo. Mix well. Use this product after every hair wash.
