- juice of half a lemon.
Preparation:
- Rinse the fruit with water, remove the tails.
- Cut the lemon into thin slices.
- Pour 300 ml of water over the fruit and bring to a boil. After boiling, cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the broth through cheesecloth folded several times. Drain the water into a container.
- Mash the berries a little with a potato crusher. Pour over the rest of the water and put it back on the fire. Cook for 20 minutes.
- Put the liquid drained for the first time on gas in another bowl, add sugar and lemon. Cook for about 50 minutes. Add a cinnamon stick if desired.
- Pour in the second part of the liquid and cook for another 20 minutes. If you wish, you can grind the berries with a blender and put them in the syrup.
- Pour into clean, dry jars and store in a cool, dark place.
