- Before immersion, lubricate sensitive skin areas with petroleum jelly.
- Begin procedures lasting no more than 5 minutes. Then add 1 minute at a time, bringing them up to 15 minutes.
- Continuously monitor the temperature of the water with a water thermometer, keeping it at the same level. Top up with hot water if necessary.
- After leaving the bath, do not dry your body, but wrap yourself in a terry robe and lie down under the covers. The best time to do this is before bed.
Take turpentine baths every other day. In total, you need to do no more than 12 procedures, and then take a break for a month.
