Knitted swimsuit for girls

Therefore, we decided to tell you how to knit a fashionable swimsuit for a baby with our own hands, so that she would feel the most beautiful on the beach. And even if you have already chosen and bought several swimwear in the store, then knitted one will not be superfluous either.
Leotard knitting for girls
A separate swimsuit looks good on girls approaching adolescence and already especially looking after their appearance.
To knit a separate swimsuit for a girl of 8-10 years old with knitting needles, you will need:
- 150 g of sectional yarn;
- knitting needles No. 3.5;
- hook number 3.5, if you want to make decorative edges.
- Cast on 29 stitches.
- Knit with front stitch, and in every 2nd row, knit 3 center loops together with a broach 13 times.
- Tie the second cup in the same way.
- Use crochet or knitting needles to tie the bodice ties and attach as shown in the pattern.
The swimming trunks will consist of two parts - the back and the front, tied together at the fly. Start knitting from the top of the front.
- Cast on 50 stitches on the needles.
- With an English elastic band, knit 4 cm.

- If desired, crochet the edges of the leotard and insert the same cord as on the bodice.
Crochet swimsuit for girls
Leotard monokini (trikini) for girl 8-10 years old is knitted with a "sirloin mesh" pattern. You can decorate it with knitted flowers, as in the picture, or knit any other applique: decorate it with beads, beads or shells.
You will need:
- 200 g of green cotton yarn;
- hook number 2;
- materials for decoration.
Fillet mesh is an alternation of 1 double crochet and 1 air loop (see diagram).
- Tie a chain of 91 chain stitches + 2 lifting loops.
- Knit 5 cm of sirloin mesh according to the pattern.
- Single crochet by decreasing two stitches in each row on both sides until there are 15 single crochets. This is the beginning of the fly pants.
- Tie a 1-inch fly in single crochet stitches.
- Continue to knit in single crochets, but now adding 1 stitch each until you have 91 stitches per row.
- Knit 5 cm with a fillet net and cut off the thread.
Start knitting the bodice of your swimsuit.
- Tie a chain of 91 chain stitches + 2 lifting loops.
- Knit with a fillet net to a height of 5 cm.
- Decrease in the next 5 rows, 1 rapport on both sides.
- Tie another 12 cm according to the pattern and cut the thread.
- Tie the edges of the swimsuit with a different color of thread.
- Tie a decorative cord.
- Make straps out of it; connect the bodice and panties with a cord, and thread it into the edges of the swimsuit as in the photo, or come up with your own version.
- Decorate your swimsuit as desired.
Crochet swimsuit for girls schemes

- The swimsuit is knitted from the bottom up. Cast on 43 stitches and knit, alternating a row of single crochet stitches with a row of single crochet stitches.
- After 3 rows, start decreasing 2 columns on both sides.
- If you did everything correctly, you should have a canvas that is 10-11 cm high and about 5 cm wide.
- Work another 6 cm in the same pattern without adding or subtracting stitches.
- Knit another 13 cm according to the pattern, adding 2 columns on each side, until the fabric reaches 23 cm.
- Cast on 6 air loops on both sides and close the canvas in a circle.
- Tie 3 rows in the same pattern and 2 rows according to the pattern in the photo.
- Leave 6 rapports loose on the back (about 15 cm).
- Knit 16 cm in straight and back rows.
- Knit further with the main pattern, decreasing and adding loops, according to the pattern.
- Tie the edges of the leotard with a contrasting color thread and attach the strings as shown.
