Acidification of the body: what is it and how to fix it
Violation of the basic principles of nutrition necessarily leads to various health problems. One of these disorders is acidification of the body. This ailment was discovered not so long ago, it arose in our century due to the active development of the fast food system.
Symptoms of acidification of the body
When the body is acidified, alkalizing elements are washed out of the tissues. These include calcium and iron. This leads to a slowdown in metabolic processes, because the body begins to accumulate water in order to neutralize the negative effects.
Externally, acidification is manifested by the following symptoms:
- The person gets tired quickly.
- Osteoporosis begins to develop.
- He often has colds.
- Decreased concentration hemoglobin.
- The person is depressed.
The reason for acidification is the wrong diet. A large amount of chicken meat, processed milk, flour products and a variety of cereals leads to such a skew. Consumption of incompatible foods, such as pasta and chicken, leads to the same effect. It is also harmful to consume large quantities of canned foods.
If you do not take appropriate measures, then the disease will begin to manifest itself externally. A person has tension in the shoulders and neck, often there is bitterness in the mouth, while a coating of white appears on the tongue. Sometimes the blood rushes to the face for no reason, under the eyes lie dark shadows. From the side of the digestive tract, problems are also observed - heartburn, constipation, belching, pain in the stomach. A person begins to lose weight and often has bone fractures.
Treatment of acidification of the body
To correct the condition, you must first of all balance your diet. Remember, not every acidic food is bad. For example, sour tomatoes and lemons neutralize acids in the body and have alkalizing properties. In this regard, they can be successfully used to correct acidosis - this is the name of acidification of the body.
Be sure to reduce the amount of food rich in fat and protein. Instead, eat more vegetables and fruits raw. Increase the amount of green tea and mineral water. It is very beneficial to drink herbal teas that reduce acid levels. To saturate the body with vitamins, consume more juices from fruits and vegetables.
Be sure to exclude all fast food and fatty foods. The lion's share of the diet should be vegetables. Be sure to eat beets, carrots, garlic every day, greens and onions. Avoid sugary foods. If it is difficult to do this at all, then at least reduce the amount of such products to a minimum.
Most cereals and legumes prepared conventionally lead to oxidation in the body. This property can be neutralized by germination or ordinary soaking. Sprouts are best eaten raw and added to salads.
To improve the quality of seeds and nuts, they must be soaked. This process removes substances from their shells that reduce the activity of enzymes. When soaking, the primary splitting of the constituents occurs, which can significantly reduce the load on the gastrointestinal tract.
It is useful to soak raw nuts and seeds for half an hour before eating. Soak all cereals in the same way for half an hour, and before cooking, drain the water and cook the cereals in fresh water. Beans should be soaked for several hours, preferably overnight.
