Violation of the basic principles of nutrition necessarily leads to various health problems. One of these disorders is acidification of the body. This disease was discovered not so long ago; it arose in our century due to the active development of the fast food system.

Symptoms of body acidification

When the body becomes acidic, alkalizing elements are washed out of the tissues. These include calcium and iron. This leads to a slowdown in metabolic processes because the body begins to accumulate water to neutralize the negative effects.

Externally, acidification is manifested by the following symptoms:

The cause of acidification is an incorrect diet. This imbalance is caused by a large amount of chicken meat, processed milk, flour products and a variety of cereals. The same effect is caused by the consumption of foods that do not combine with each other, for example, pasta and chicken. It is also harmful to consume canned foods in large quantities.

A person experiences tension in the shoulders and neck, often feels bitter in the mouth, and a white coating appears on the tongue. Sometimes blood rushes to the face for no reason, under the eyes there is dark shadows. Problems are also observed in the digestive tract - heartburn, constipation, belching, stomach pain. A person begins to lose weight and often breaks bones.

Treatment of body acidification

To correct the condition, you must first balance your diet. Remember that not every acidic food is harmful. For example, sour tomatoes and lemons neutralize acid in the body and have alkalizing properties. In this regard, they can be successfully used to correct acidosis - the so-called acidification of the body.

z2 Be sure to reduce the amount of food rich in fat and protein. Instead, eat more vegetables and fruit in its raw form. Increase the amount of green tea and mineral water. It is very useful to drink herbal decoctions that reduce acid levels. To saturate your body with vitamins, consume more juices from fruits and vegetables.

Be sure to exclude all fast food and fatty foods. The lion's share of the diet should be vegetables. Be sure to eat beets, carrots, garlic, greens and onions. Avoid sugary foods. If it’s difficult to do this at all, then at least reduce the number of such products to a minimum.

Most grains and legumes, when cooked conventionally, cause the body to become acidic. This property can be neutralized by germination or regular soaking. Sprouts are best eaten raw and added to salads.

z4 To improve the quality of seeds and nuts, they need to be soaked. This process allows you to remove substances from their shell that reduce the activity of enzymes. When soaking, the primary breakdown of the components occurs, which greatly reduces the load on the gastrointestinal tract.

It is useful to soak raw nuts and seeds half an hour before use. Soak all cereals for half an hour, and before cooking, drain the water and cook the cereal in fresh water. Legumes should be soaked for several hours, preferably overnight.
