But it should be borne in mind that a negative situation can seriously lengthen the crisis period. There have been cases when the crisis lasted up to a year or even more.

A crisis is characterized by the fact that such a moment changes the behavior of the child, it develops much faster. It does not last long, but it is very violent. He can already move independently, which means he has a new space for his activities. And then there is no time for any prohibitions of mom or dad.

During this time, it is important to show reasonable understanding and try not to limit the child's wishes. Remember - this is how he learns the world... To finally realize this fact, the baby needs to resist parental control.

d3 To get out of such a difficult situation, follow these rules:

  • Do not persist in response to the baby.
  • Wait a bit and repeat your request again. A few minutes are enough for the child to divert his attention to something else.
  • Shift your baby's attention to the positive. For example, if you refuse to leave the playing area, arrange a competition to see who will be the first to reach the house.
  • Consider the moment that it takes a little man a few minutes to get distracted from some business at your request. Don't rush him, just let the game finish.
  • Let the child show his desire and will. But only in those moments when nothing threatens his safety. For example, the prohibition of sticking your fingers into the socket should always remain a prohibition. And the child's reluctance to eat cauliflower can be surrendered.

The child begins to experience fears, does not want to talk to strangers, or is afraid to leave his mother even for a minute.

d5 At this time, the main thing is to show kindness and understanding. Let him be independent in some moments.
